Paul Manafort will be questioned by detectives of NABU Party of Regions American political consultant Paul Manafort Trump/Clinton election campaign in the United States US law enforcement agencies conduct a joint investigation of corruption image of Ukraine

Paul Manafort is to be questioned by detectives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (hereafter – NABU), Ukrainian MP and Minister of Internal Affairs advisor Anton Gerashchenko says.

Recently, NABU official website reported that among the records of the so-called Party of Regions “spreadsheet”, there were recordings of the transfer of more than 12 million US Dollars to Yanukovych’s American political consultant Paul Manafort.
Though signatures under the sums addressed to Manafort were not his own. They belong to persons related to the foreign policy wing of the Party of Regions. In particular, to one former member of the party.
This topic caused a “bombshell effect” during the Trump/Clinton election campaign in the United States.
Paul Manafort was demoted from his post of head of the main Trump’s election campaign on second-rate position. But I think this scandal is not ended.
Now, US law enforcement agencies and, above all, the FBI under the pressure of public opinion will simply be forced to officially get in touch with NABU and conduct a joint investigation of corruption of one of Donald Trump’s closest associates.
NABU, in its turn, after such a loud statement, is simply obliged to interrogate those persons that are listed in the «Party of Regions spreadsheet» as persons receiving the funds from the “black cash” indicating “for Manafort”, as well as call Manafort in for questioning on this or run it through a video conference that is not prohibited by procedural code.
If such proceedings are not performed, it could negatively affect the image of Ukraine as a whole and NABU in particular.
