The 1,635th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.
Operational Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 212 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 99 airstrikes, during which it dropped 312 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 11,235 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,122 attacks on populated areas and the positions of Ukrainian forces, 64 of them using multiple-launch rocket systems.
The following settlements came under enemy artillery fire: Sumy region: Korenok, Sopych, Bachivsk, Neskuchne, Bezsalivka, Rohizne, Ryzhivka, Hirky, Ulanove, Volfyne; Chernihiv region: Khrinivka, Mykolaivka. Korenok and Ulanove came under airstrikes.
Over the past day, Ukrainian Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck 12 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, seven artillery systems, and one UAV control post.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped four russian assaults over the past day. At the same time, the aggressor conducted 49 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian forces and populated areas.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian units repelled five russian attacks. The invaders attempted to advance near Vovchanski Khutory and toward Zybne, Anyskine, and Okhrimivka.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers conducted 10 offensive actions toward Radkivka and Kurylivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: where the occupiers attacked nine times toward Cherneshchyna, Novyi Myr, Drobysheve, Lyman, and Dibrova, as well as near Ridkodub and Novoselivka.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers carried out 21 assault actions near Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, and Zakitne, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Pyskunivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces conducted no offensive actions.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: 28 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault actions near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Novoselivka, Sofiivka, and Rusyn Yar, and toward Vilne, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, and Kucheriv Yar.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: The russian troops carried out 34 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance near Vasylivka, Udachne, Kotlyne, and Novopidhorodne, and toward Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Novohryshyne, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka.
Oleksandryvskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian invaders launched two attacks toward Oleksandrohrad and Rybne.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked Ukrainian defensive positions six times. The enemy attempted to advance toward Charivne, Novoselivka, and Tsvitkove, as well as near Bilohiria.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped three attempts by the enemy to advance toward Stepnohirskand Plavni, as well as near Plavni.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the enemy conducted no assault actions over the past day.
Volyn and Polissia Direction
08:00 AM: no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
Overall, Russian forces suffered 1,510 casualties over the past day.
