EMPR media is an independent Ukrainian media platform founded during the Revolution of Dignity in 2014 from the International PR Headquarters of Euromaidan in Kyiv. Created by ordinary Ukrainians amid a historic struggle for freedom and sovereignty, it was among the first international-facing media outlets to identify the conflict as the Russia–Ukraine War in February 2014.
Today, EMPR media provides verified, independent reporting on Russia’s war against Ukraine, Russian war crimes, security challenges, geopolitical developments, and their global implications. Our journalists hold official accreditation from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and operate under rigorous professional and security standards.
EMPR media is part of the community of Ukrainian journalists honored with the 2022 Pulitzer Prize Special Citation, recognizing the courage, resilience, and commitment of Ukrainian media professionals reporting on Russia’s invasion. We continue this mission by delivering accurate, fact-based, and independent journalism from Ukraine to the world.
For more than a decade, EMPR media has strengthened Ukraine’s engagement with the international community by amplifying Ukrainian voices and providing reliable insights into events shaping the country during war and reform. As part of Ukraine’s information defense, we remain committed to truthful, uncensored reporting and countering disinformation.
While our current focus is documenting and explaining the Russia–Ukraine War, we see this as part of a broader mission. Following Ukraine’s victory, EMPR media will increasingly highlight Ukraine’s culture, history, arts, innovation, technology, business, and the achievements, opportunities, and global contributions of Ukrainians—helping the world better understand a modern European nation shaping its future.
Our audience and followers include governmental and civil society organizations, public figures, embassies and diplomatic missions, media representatives, and leading international media outlets, as well as policymakers, analysts, researchers, investors, and engaged readers across North America, Europe, Asia, and beyond.
