Independent journalism from Ukraine survives because readers choose to support it.
Monthly support helps keep EMPR.media reporting during war, cyberattacks, and disinformation campaigns.
EMPR.media is an independent Ukrainian citizen media organization reporting on Russia’s war against Ukraine since 2014.
Founded during the Revolution of Dignity by members of the International PR Headquarters of the National Resistance of Euromaidan in Kyiv, EMPR.media was among the first international-facing media outlets to identify and consistently describe the conflict as Russia’s war against Ukraine, years before much of the international community recognized its full scale and global implications.
For more than a decade, EMPR.media has documented Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, attacks on civilians, human rights violations, war crimes, democratic resistance, geopolitical developments, and the broader consequences of the war for Europe and the international community.
Operating independently from Ukraine, our journalists, analysts, and contributors provide fact-based reporting, investigations, analysis, interviews, documentaries, and explanatory journalism for global audiences.
Our mission is to ensure that reliable information from Ukraine remains accessible to policymakers, researchers, journalists, civil society organizations, and citizens worldwide. Through independent reporting and evidence-based analysis, EMPR.media contributes to public understanding of one of the most consequential geopolitical conflicts of the 21st century.
EMPR.media is not owned by oligarchs, political parties, governments, or corporate interests. We maintain full editorial independence and reject funding that could compromise our integrity or influence our reporting.
Support from readers, foundations, and institutional partners helps us:
• Produce independent reporting and investigative journalism;
• Document war crimes, attacks on civilians, and violations of international law;
• Counter Russian propaganda and disinformation;
• Publish analysis, interviews, and documentary projects;
• Strengthen information resilience and media literacy;
• Preserve an accurate historical record of the war;
• Expand international access to trusted reporting from Ukraine.
At a time when democratic societies face growing challenges from disinformation, authoritarian influence, and information warfare, independent journalism remains essential to accountability, transparency, and informed public debate.
Supporting EMPR.media is an investment in press freedom, democratic values, factual reporting, and Ukraine’s voice in the global conversation.
Your contribution helps ensure that independent journalism from Ukraine continues to inform the world.
We are deeply grateful to our supporters, partners, and readers worldwide for standing with independent journalism and democratic principles!
