Kateryna Kotsar Wins Historic Silver for Ukraine at Big Air World Cup

Ukrainian athlete Kateryna Kotsar took second place in the Women’s Big Air World Cup, held in Steamboat, USA.

After the first jump, the Ukrainian was in seventh place. However, following unsuccessful attempts by her competitors, Kateryna managed to surpass all athletes except Canada’s Naomi Urness, who ultimately won the competition.

Kotsar’s medal is the first in Ukraine’s history in the Big Air World Cup. Until now, other Ukrainian freestyle athletes had not managed to reach the finals at this level.
