Reports of Drone Activity Near Russia’s Ust-Luga and Primorsk Oil Ports for Third Night

On the night of March 27, Russia’s oil ports of Ust-Luga and Primorsk in the Leningrad region were again affected by reported drone activity.

Large fires were observed at both facilities, according to satellite data and eyewitness accounts.

This was reported by OSINT communities, the monitoring group “Crimean Wind,” and Telegram channels.

Satellite imagery suggests that following the overnight incident, the fire at Ust-Luga intensified significantly. A similar situation was observed at the Primorsk terminal. Local residents reported hearing multiple explosions and seeing a glow visible from dozens of kilometers away. In particular, the fire at Ust-Luga was reportedly visible even from Estonia.

Both facilities are among the largest oil export terminals in the region and play a key role in Russia’s petroleum exports.

According to cited sources, this marks the third consecutive night of reported drone-related incidents targeting facilities in the Leningrad region.

Earlier, the Ust-Luga and Primorsk terminals were reported to have suspended oil and petroleum product exports following previous large-scale drone-related disruptions.
