Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of June 8, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces dramatically inclreased the number of attacks to 28 in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours. The enemy used 3 times forbidden heavy 152-mm and 122-mm artillery and forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers fire against Ukrainian troops.

(2) Russian occupiers launched 21 attacks with the following weaponry in the East area:

forbidden 152-mm artillery – near Novoselivka Druha,

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Novoselivka Druha, near Maryinka (2 times),

infantry fighting vehicles – near Vodyane (4 times),

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Vodyane, near Mykolaivka,

automatic grenade launchers – near Hnutove and Avdyivka,

grenade launchers – near Novoselivka Druha, near Pavlopil (5 times), near Novogrygorivka (2 times),

high caliber machine guns – near Pavlopil, near Vodyane, near Novogrygorivka (2 times),

small arms – near Pavlopil, near Vodyane, near Maryinka, near Hnutove and near Avdyivka.

(3) Russian forces launched 7 attacks with the following types of weaponry in the North area:

forbidden 122-mm artillery – near Novoluhanske,

forbidden 120-mm mortar launchers – near Novoluhanske,

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Krymske,

infantry fighting vehicles – near Travneve (2 times),

automatic grenade launchers – near Travneve,

high caliber machine guns – near Novoluhanske, near Krymske, near Zaytseve,

grenade launchers of different systems – near Novoluhanske, near Krymske, near Zaytseve,

small arms – near Novoluhanske, near Krymske, near Stanytsya Luhanska and near Zaytseve.

(4) Russian forces losses over the last 24 hours are as follows: 2 killed in actions and 1 wounded in actions.

(5) 2 Ukrainian servicemen killed in actions and 12 wounded in actions in the war zone in Euasten Ukraine over the past day.
