Russia – Ukraine war updates from the war zone in southeast Ukraine as of September 23, 2019 by Joint forces operation HQ data: EMPR highlights.

(1) Russian hybrid forces launched 15 attacks in the war zone in eastern Ukraine for the last 24 hours with the use the forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers fire against Ukrainian troops.

(2) Russian occupiers launched 7 attacks with the following types of arms in the East area:

automatic grenade launchers – near Vodyane and  Novognativka,

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Lebedynske (2 times),

small arms – near Vodyane, Lebedynske and Mykolayvka (3 times).

(3) Russian forces launched 8 attacks in the North area with the use of the following types of arms:

forbidden 82-mm mortar launchers – near Novgorodske and Zalizne,

grenade launchers of different systems – near Zaytseve, Novoluhanske, Krymske and Pivdenne,

easel anti-tank grenade launchers – near Luhanske,

manual anti-tank grenade launchers – near Mayorsk,

small arms – near Zaytseve and Novoluhanske. 

(4) 1 Ukrainian serviceman was wounded in actions for the last 24 hours.
