The 1,516th day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.
The Defense Forces continue to repel attempts by the occupiers to improve their positions and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting significant losses in personnel and equipment on the enemy.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
In total, 153 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 68 airstrikes, dropping 216 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 9,360 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,404 shelling attacks on populated areas and positions of our troops, including 60 using multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Velykomykhailivka, Kolomiytsi, Andriivka, Fedorivske, and Vovche in the Dnipropetrovsk region; and Vozdvyzhivka, Nizhenka, Zirnytsia, Verkhna Tersa, Charivne, Liubytske, Kopani, Lisne, Trudove, Shevchenkivske, Novoukrainka, Mykilske, Yurkivka, Zarichne, and Balabyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Over the past day, aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck nine areas of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment.

In total, 166 combat engagements have taken place since the beginning of this day.
The Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy, destroying personnel and exhausting the occupiers’ combat potential through systematic fire strikes.
The enemy carried out 43 airstrikes, dropping 146 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 4,887 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,237 shelling attacks on populated areas and positions of our troops.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers carried out one airstrike yesterday, dropping one guided aerial bomb, and conducted 84 shelling attacks on our positions and settlements, two of which involved multiple launch rocket systems. Two enemy assault actions were recorded.
10:00 PM: the russian enemy carried out 76 shelling attacks on our positions and settlements, including six using multiple launch rocket systems.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian forcdes attempted three times to break through the defensive lines of our defenders in the areas of Starytsia and Vovchansk.
10:00 PM: the russian occupiers launched ten assaults on the positions of our units in the areas of Synelnykove, Prylipka, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Vilcha, and toward Bochkovе. One engagement is ongoing.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian aggressor attacked four times toward Novoplatonivka and in the areas of Petropavlivka and Pishchane.
10:00 PM: Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled four russian assaults in the areas of Kurylivka, Kolisnykivka, Kivsharivka, and Radkivka. Three engagements are still ongoing.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: the russian troops attempted seven times to penetrate our defenses, attacking in the area of Drobysheve and toward the settlements of Lyman, Stavky, and Novoserhiivka.
10:00 PM: Ukrainian forces repelledthree attempts by the occupiers to advance toward Tverdokhlibove, Drobysheve, Lyman, Shyikivka, and Hrekivka. Two engagements are still ongoing.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped three attempts by the occupiers to advance near Yampil and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.
10:00 PM: Ukrainian defenders repelled one russian assault near Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: Russians attacked four times in the areas of Nykyforivka, Minkivka, and toward Mykolaivka.
10:00 PM: since the beginning of the day, the russian enemy has attacked once near the settlement of Holubivka.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian enemy carried out 19 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Sofiivka, and toward Novopavlivka and Stepanivka.
10:00 PM: the Defense Forces successfully repelled 16 russian assaults near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Stepanivka, Illinivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled 28 assault actions by the aggressor in the areas of Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, and toward the settlements of Shevchenko, Bilitske, Novopavlivka, and Novopidhorodne.
10:00 PM: the russian enemy carried out35 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance in the areas of Bilitske, Rodynske, Dorozhne, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Zatyshok, Udachne, Muravka, Novopidhorodne, Molodetske, Novopavlivka, and Filiia, as well as toward Novooleksandrivka and Shevchenko. Two engagements are still ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, 123 occupiers were eliminated and 46 wounded in this direction today. Eight vehicles and three pieces of special equipment were destroyed, while one artillery gun and seven vehicles were damaged. A total of 126 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
Oleksandrivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked seven times toward Kalynivske, Verbove, and Oleksandrohrad.
10:00 PM: the russian forces attempted twice to improve their tactical position by attacking in the areas of Oleksandrohrad and Sichneve. Airstrikes targeted the outskirts of Ivanivka and Havrylivka.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: 12 russian attacks took place toward the settlements of Sviatopetrivka, Staroukrainka, Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka, Huliaipilske, and in the areas of Varvarivka, Pryluky, and Tsvitkove.
10:00 PM: the Defense Forces successfully repelled 27 enemy attacks in the areas of Varvarivka, Dobropillia, Zelene, Sviatopetrivka, Tsvitkove, Zaliznychne, Pryluky, Olenokostiantynivka, and toward Verkhna Tersa, Huliaipilske, and Hirke. The enemy carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vozdvyzhenska, Huliaipilske, Liubytske, and Mykilske.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers did not conduct active operations.
10:00 PM: the Russians attempted to advance near the settlement of Pavlivka. In addition, the enemy carried out airstrikes on the areas of Vilnianka and Kushuhum.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian troops carried out three unsuccessful assault actions toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
10:00 PM: Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled three attacks toward the Antonivskyi Bridge and near Bilohrudyi Island. The settlements of Bilozerka, Chornobaivka, and Rozlyv were subjected to airstrikes with guided bombs.
Volyn and Polissia Directions
08:00 AM and 10:00 PM: no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue to provide effective resistance along all sections of the front.
Overall, over the past day, Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 1,070 personnel. Ukrainian forces also neutralized six tanks, 10 armored combat vehicles, 82 artillery systems, five multiple launch rocket systems, 2,019 operational-tactical UAVs, 203 vehicles, and two pieces of special equipment.
