Today is the 1,520th day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to repel attempts by occupying forces to improve their tactical positions and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting significant losses in personnel and equipment.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
Total of 159 combat engagements were recorded.
Yesterday, Russian forces carried out 73 airstrikes, dropping 234 guided aerial bombs. They also deployed 9,096 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,231 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian positions, including 52 using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Airstrikes targeted, among other areas:
- Chernaatske and Vilna Sloboda in the Sumy region;
- Ivanivka, Kopani, and Lisne in the Dnipropetrovsk region;
- Andriivka-Klevtsove in the Donetsk region;
- Verkhnia Tersa, Liubytske, Shyroke, Huliaipole, Staroukrainka, Tymoshivka, Tsvitkove, Dolynka, Komyshuvakha, Novorozivka, Yasna Poliana, Yurkivka, and Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Over the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force, missile troops, and artillery struck six areas of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment, as well as three command posts and one enemy artillery piece.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers carried out four airstrikes using 12 guided bombs and conducted 121 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including five with MLRS.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces attempted four times to break through Ukrainian defensive lines near the settlement of Lyman and toward Bochkove and Okhrimivka.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian enemy launched seven attacks near Petropavlivka and Kivsharivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces attempted five times to penetrate Ukrainian defenses near Novoserhiivka, Drobysheve, and Dibrova.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy attempts to advance near Yampol.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: Russian troops conducted two attacks near Nykyforivka.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: the Russians carried out 20 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, and toward Novodmytrivka.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 36 assault attempts near Sofiivka, Novopavlivka, Toretske, Rodynske, Filiia, Shevchenko, Myrnohrad, Hryshyne, Muravka, Kotlyne, Udachne, and toward Kucheriv Yar.
Oleksandrivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked eight times near Sichneve, Ternove, Oleksandrohrad, Vorone, and Kalynivske.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: 16 russian attacks were recorded near Dobropillia, Hirske, Zaliznychne, Zelene, Staroukrainka, and Tsvitkove.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces advanced once toward the settlement of Novoandriivka.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the Russians conducted four assault operations toward the Antonivskyi Bridge and near the islands of Bilohrudyi and Kruhlyk.
Volyn and Polissia Directions
08:00 AM: no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue to maintain effective resistance along the entire front line.
Total Russian losses over the past day amounted to approximately 1,100 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed:
