The 1,630th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.
Operational Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 237 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out two missile strikes using 13 missiles and 80 airstrikes, during which 284 guided aerial bombs were dropped. In addition, the invaders used 11,155 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,422 attacks on populated areas and the positions of Ukrainian forces, 28 of them using multiple-launch rocket systems.
The following populated areas in Sumy region came under enemy artillery fire: Korenok, Sopych, Bachivsk, Neskuchne, Rohizne, Tovstodubove, Bezsalivka, Vyntorivka, Hirky, Yastrubshchyna, and Topolia. Sumy, Hurko-Ozhynka, and Pustohorod came under airstrikes.
Over the past day, Ukrainian Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck three command posts, one concentration area of enemy personnel, one artillery system, and four UAV control posts.
Operational Information as of 10:00 p.m. regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine
Since the beginning of the day, there have been 185 combat engagements.
The aggressor carried out 56 airstrikes, using 183 guided aerial bombs, deployed 6,597 kamikaze drones, and conducted 1,982 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian forces and populated areas.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped seven enemy assaults over the past day. At the same time, the aggressor carried out 71 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian forces and populated areas, including one using a multiple-launch rocket system.
10:00 PM: three combat engagements took place since the beginning of the day. The enemy conducted an airstrike using three guided aerial bombs and carried out 36 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian forces and populated areas, including three using multiple-launch rocket systems.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian units repelled 13 russian attacks. The invaders attempted to advance near Lyman and Starytsia, and toward Khatnie, Kolodiazne, Okhrimivka, and Vodiane.
10:00 PM: the enemy launched eight assaults on Ukrainian positions near Starytsia and toward Vilkhuvatka and Kolodiazne. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the enemy conducted 15 offensive actions near Zahryzove and Kurylivka, and toward Radkivka and Petropavlivka.
10:00 PM: the russian enemy launched one attack toward Novoplatonivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: Attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses were repelled, the russian occupiers attacked seven times near Karpivka, Serednie, Zarichne, and Dibrova.
10:00 PM: Three attempts by the russian invaders to advance were repelled, near Novoselivka and toward Zarichne.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: the enemy carried out 18 assault actions near Riznykivka, Zakitne, Kryva Luka, and Kalenyky, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Ozerne.
10:00 PM: the Defense Forces stopped 20 attempts by the invaders to advance near Riznykivka, Zakitne, Kryva Luka, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: Russian invaders carried out one offensive action toward Yurkivka.
10:00 PM: Russian forces launched two attacks near Fedorivka Druha and toward Yurkivka.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: 34 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault actions near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, and Illinivka, and toward Dovha Balka, Stepanivka, Toretske, Novyi Donbas, and Kucheriv Yar.
10:00 PM: the Defense Forces repelled 17 russian assaults near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Dovha Balka and Toretske. One combat engagement is ongoing.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy carried out 37 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance near Nove Shakhove, Myrne, Dorozhne, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Novomykolaivka, and toward Shevchenko, Myrne, Vasylivka, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka.
10:00 PM: The russian occupiers launched 24 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance near Nove Shakhove, Dorozhne, Udachne, Molodetske, and toward Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, Ivanivka, Novyi Donbas, Svitle, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
According to preliminary estimates, 43 russian occupiers were killed and 13 wounded in this area today. Ukrainian forces destroyed one artillery system, eight vehicles, and 20 personnel shelters. Damaged were one tank, one multiple-launch rocket system, five artillery systems, three UAV control posts, two vehicles, and four pieces of special equipment, as well as 93 enemy personnel shelters. A total of 308 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
Oleksandryvskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian invaders launched one attack toward Ternove.
10:00 PM: the enemy launched two attacks toward Novyi Zaporizhzhia.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked Ukrainian defensive positions six times. The enemy attempted to advance toward Vozdvyzhivka, Charivne, Kosivtseve, Staroukrainka, Tsvitkove, and Huliaipolske.
10:00 PM: the Defense Forces repelled 12 russian attacks toward Vozdvyzhivka, Hirke, Rivne, Verkhnia Tersa, and Novoselivka.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped two attempts by the russianenemy to advance toward Prymorske and near Luhivske.
10:00 PM: Ukrainian defenders stopped three attempts by the enemy to advance toward Novoiakovlivkaand Prymorske.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
