Operational Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 204 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 78 airstrikes, during which it dropped 260 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 10,066 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,089 attacks on populated areas and the positions of Ukrainian forces.
The following settlements came under enemy artillery fire – Sumy region: Korenok, Shpyl, Bezsalivka, Seredyna-Buda, Yastrubshchyna, Ulanove, Neskuchne, Rohizne, Bachivsk, Sopych, Tovstodubove, Shalyhyne; Chernihiv region: Kryvusha, Kamin, Mykhalchyna-Sloboda.
Over the past day, Ukrainian Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck eight areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, three artillery systems, and an ammunition depot.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped four russian assaults over the past day. At the same time, the aggressor carried out an airstrike using three guided aerial bombs and conducted 52 attackson the positions of Ukrainian forces and populated areas, including three using multiple-launch rocket systems.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian units repelled nine russian attacks. The invaders attempted to advance near Starytsia and toward Vilkhuvatka and Kolodiazne.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers conducted one offensive action toward Novoplatonivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: Attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses were repelled, occupiers attacked four times toward Novoselivka and near Zarichne.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: the enemy carried out 21 assault actions near Riznykivka, Zakitne, and Kryva Luka, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers launched two attacks near Fedorivka Druha and toward Yurkivka.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: 19 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault actions near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, and Rusyn Yar, and toward Dovha Balka and Toretske.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers carried out 26 attacks. The occupiers attempted to advance near Nove Shakhove, Dorozhne, Udachne, and Molodetske, and toward Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, Ivanivka, Novyi Donbas, Svitle, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka.
Oleksandryvskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian invaders launched three attacks toward Novyi Zaporizhzhia.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked 14 times. The enemy attempted to advance toward Vozdvyzhivka, Hirke, Rivne, Verkhnia Tersa, and Novoselivka.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped three attempts by the enemy to advance toward Novoiakovlivkaand Prymorske.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders successfully stopped three assault actions toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
Volyn and Polissia Direction
08:00 AM: no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
