The 1,642th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.
Operational Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 254 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile strikes involving six missiles and 98 airstrikes, dropping 329 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces used 11,859 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,318 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian troop positions.
Enemy artillery fire struck the settlements of Korenok, Ul anove, Bachivsk, Volfyne, Yastrubshchyna, and Luzhky. An airstrike was also carried out in the Sumy region near the settlement of Potapivka.
Over the past day, Ukrainian Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery struck three areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, four control points for unmanned aerial vehicles, and one command-and-observation post.
Frontline situation
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled 13 russian assaults. The aggressor also carried out one airstrike using three guided aerial bombs and conducted 67 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including five using multiple-launch rocket systems.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian units repelled 21 russian attacks. Russian forces attempted to advance near Izbytske and toward Okhrimivkaand Volokhivka.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy attacked twice toward Zahryzove.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces made nine attacks near Lyman and toward Stepove, Shyikivka, Kopanky, Novoselivka, and Drobysheve. All attempts to breach Ukrainian defenses were repelled.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy launched seven assaults near Kryva Luka, Zakitne, and Ozerne, as well as toward Mykolaivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces attacked three times toward Mynkivka, Yurkivka, and Tykhonivka.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: A total of 25 attacks were recorded. Russian troops conducted assaults near Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Mykolaipillia, as well as toward Novoselivka and Stepanivka.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 24 attacks. Enemy activity was recorded near Bilytske, Serhiivka, Molodetske, and Kotlyne, while assaults were conducted toward Novopavlivka, Shakhove, Kucheriv Yar, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Myrne, and Udachne.
Oleksandryvskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces carried out four attacks toward Andriivka-Klevtsove and Nechaivka.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces attacked 15 times near Hirke, Charivne, Yehorivka, Vozdvyzhivka, Rivne, Dobropillia, Dolynka, and Verkhnia Tersa.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped two attempts by Russian forces to advance toward Pavlivka.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy conducted no assault operations during the past day.
Volyn and Polissia Direction
08:00 AM: No signs of Russian forces forming offensive groupings were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of enemy forces and are mounting effective resistance across all sectors of the front.
According to the Ukrainian military, Russian forces suffered 1,310 personnel casualties over the past day.
The following enemy equipment was also destroyed or disabled:
