Operational Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 261 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, Russian forces launched two missile strikes, firing 30 missiles, and carried out 78 airstrikes, dropping 299 guided aerial bombs (KABs). In addition, the enemy deployed 10,672 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,314 attacks on populated areas and the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces, including 66 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Over the past day, Ukraine’s Missile Forces and Artillery struck: 9 UAV command posts; 4 areas of enemy troop concentration; 7 Russian command posts.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: 7 combat engagements took place over the past day. The russian enemy carried out 2 airstrikes, dropping four guided aerial bombs, and launched 75 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including 19 attacks using MLRS.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces launched 12 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Starytsia and Vovchansk, and toward the settlements of Khatnie, Ternova, Zemlianyi Yar, and Ivashkyne.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy conducted 11 attacks toward Kupiansk, Kindrashivka, Novoosynove, and Shyikivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 14 times, attacking toward Novoselivka, Lyman, Dibrova, Shyikivka, and Ozerne.
