Operational Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 233 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, Russian forces launched one missile strike, firing one missile, and carried out 91 airstrikes, dropping 308 guided aerial bombs (KABs). In addition, the enemy deployed 10,621 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,176 attacks on populated areas and the positions of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
Over the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force, Missile Forces, and Artillery struck:
2 UAV command posts;
6 enemy artillery systems;
18 areas of enemy troop concentration.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: One combat engagement took place over the past day. Russian forces carried out two airstrikes, dropping six guided aerial bombs, and conducted 55 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: The russian occupiers launched 20 attacks on Ukrainian positions in the areas of Starytsia, Lyman, Vovchanski Khutory, Dvorichanske, and Zapadne, as well as toward the settlements of Izbytske, Hoptivka, Vilcha, Volokhivka, Sheviakivka, and Khatnie.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces carried out two attacks toward Kivsharivka and Bohuslavka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: The russian enemy attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses eight times, attacking in the area of Yampil and toward Ozerne, Novoselivka, and Dibrova.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: Russian troops launched 16 assaults in the areas of Zakitne, Kryva Luka, and Riznykivka, and toward Mykolaivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: Russian occupation forces conducted four attacks in the areas of Pryvillia and Nykyforivka, and toward Malynivka and Tykhonivka.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy launched 25 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, and Rusyn Yar, as well as toward Dovha Balka and Stepanivka.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled 26 russian assaults in the area of Shakhove and Udachne, and toward Toretske, Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko, Matiasheve, and Novopidhorodne.
