Today is the 1,628th day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

Operational Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine

A total of 231 combat engagements were recorded over the past 24 hours.

Yesterday, the enemy launched one missile strike involving seven missiles and carried out 75 airstrikes, dropping 269 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces used 10,284 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,137 attacks on populated areas and positions of Ukrainian forces.

Russian artillery shelled the settlements of Korenok, Bachivsk, Sopych, Tovstodubove, Atynske, Bezsalivka, Ryzhivka, Potapivka and Ulanove in Sumy region, as well as Naberezhne and Yanzhulivka in Chernihiv region.

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation, missile forces and artillery struck eight areas where Russian personnel were concentrated, four artillery systems and four command posts for unmanned aerial vehicles.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled five Russian assaults. At the same time, Russian forces carried out three airstrikes using eight guided aerial bombs and conducted 54 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including two using multiple-launch rocket systems.

Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian units repelled 19 russian attacks. Russian forces attempted to advance near Lyman, Starytsia, Synelnykove and Artelne, as well as toward Izbytske, Ternova, Okhrimivka, Volokhivka, Pokalyane and Khatnie.

Kupiansk Direction

08:00 AM: Russian forces launched nine offensive actions toward Kivsharivka, Myrne and Radkivka.

Lyman Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian forces repelled 12 attempts by Russian troops to penetrate their defenses. The attacks were directed toward Drobysheve, Stavky, Ozerne and Lyman, as well as areas around Karpivka, Zarichne, Novomykhailivka and Novoselivka.

Sloviansk Direction

08:00 AM: Russian forces carried out 15 assault operations near Zakitne, Kryva Luka and Riznykivka, as well as toward Pyskunivka, Mykolaivka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

Kramatorsk Direction

08:00 AM: Russian troops launched three attacks near Malynivka and toward Yurkivka.

Kostyantinivka Direction

08:00 AM: 24 russian attacks were recorded. Russian forces conducted assaults near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka and Stepanivka, as well as toward Osykove, Dovha Balka and Mykolaipillia.

Pokrovsk Direction

08:00 AM: remained one of the most active areas, with 29 Russian attacks recorded. Russian forces attempted to advance near Novooleksandrivka, Udachne and Muravka, as well as toward Novyi Donbas, Shevchenko and Serhiivka.

Oleksandrivka Direction

08:00 AM: Russian forces launched two attacks near Zlahoda.

Huliaipole Direction

08:00 AM: Russian forces carried out 14 attacks, attempting to advance toward Rizdvianka, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Hirke, Staroukrainka, Rivne and Charivne.

Orikhiv Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped two attempts by Russian forces to advance toward Prymorske and Stepnohirsk.

Prydniprovskyi  Direction

08:00 AM: Russian forces conducted no offensive operations during the past day.

Volyn and Polissia Direction

08:00 AM: no signs of Russian forces forming offensive groupings were detected.

According to Ukraine’s military, Russian forces suffered 1,130 personnel casualties over the past 24 hours.

Ukrainian forces also reported destroying or disabling: 2 tanks, 4 armored combat vehicles, 41 artillery systems, 4 multiple-launch rocket systems, 9 ground robotic systems, 1,642 unmanned aerial vehicles, 358 vehicles, 1 unit of special equipment.

Ukrainian defenders continue to resist Russian attacks and conduct operations against Russian personnel, equipment and military infrastructure across the front.
