Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 238 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile strikes using three missiles and carried out 85 airstrikes, dropping 293 guided aerial bombs (KABs). In addition, Russian forces deployed 8,112 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,892 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 26 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Enemy airstrikes targeted the areas of Sumy, Luzhky, and Topolia in Sumy Oblast.
Over the past day, the Air Force, Missile Forces, and Artillery of Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck: 13 areas of enemy personnel concentration and 2 UAV command posts.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy conducted no assault operations over the past day. At the same time, Russian forces carried out one airstrikeusing two guided aerial bombs and launched 63 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including four attacks with MLRS.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian forces repelled 13 enemy attacks in the areas of Lyman, Volokhivka, Starytsia, Izbytske, and Khatnie.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy launched five attacks in the areas of Kivsharivka, Shyikivka, and Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 17 times, attacking in the areas of Stavky, Drobysheve, Dibrova, Novyi Myr, Novoselivka, Lyman, and Ozerne.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy carried out 18 assault operations in the areas of Zakitne, Kryva Luka, Pyskunivka, Mykolaivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Riznykivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: Russian occupation forces launched one attack toward Tykhonivka.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: A total of 32 russian attacks were recorded in the areas of Mykolaypillia, Stepanivka, Rusyn Yar, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, and Ivanopillia.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled 31 russian assaults in the areas of Toretske, Shakhove, Hannivka, Serhiivka, Novopavlivka, Sofiivka, Vilne, Nove Shakhove, Rodynske, Shevchenko, Matiasheve, Myrne, Vasylivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Molodetske.
