The 1540th day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
In total, 210 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 111 airstrikes, dropping 314 guided aerial bombs (KABs). In addition, Russian forces deployed 8,923 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,353 shelling attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops, including 148 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 16 areas of enemy manpower concentration and one enemy artillery system.

08:00 AM: the aggressor launched six airstrikes using 16 guided aerial bombs, carried out 81 shelling attacks on the positions of our troops and populated areas, including four using MLRS. One enemy assault action was recorded.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked the positions of Ukrainian units eight times in the areas of Starytsia, Kruhle, and toward Kolodiazne, Radkivka, Lyman, and Novovasylivka.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian troops attacked once toward Novoplatonivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attempted five times to break through our defenses, attacking in the area of Stavky and toward Ozerne and Dibrova.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian troops launched one assault toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked once toward Nykyforivka.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian aggressor carried out 31 attacks in the areas of Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Sofiivka, Nove Shakhove, Vilne, and toward Kostiantynivka, Novopavlivka, and Kucheriv Yar.

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 32 assault actions by the aggressor toward the settlements of Rodynske, Shevchenko, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Vasylivka, Udachne, Muravka, Molodetske, Novomykolaivka, Bilytske, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, and Novopidhorodne.

Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy and are putting up effective resistance along all sectors of the front.
Overall, over the past day, Russian invaders suffered losses of 1,130 personnel. In addition, Ukrainian forces neutralized two tanks, one armored combat vehicle, 50 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, three air defense systems, two ground robotic systems, 1,853 unmanned aerial vehicles, 287 vehicles, and two units of special equipment belonging to the enemy.
