In total, 304 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Operational Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out 83 air strikes, during which it dropped 271 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 7,059 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,551 shellings of populated areas and positions of our troops, of which 76 were carried out with the use of multiple launch rocket systems.
Among other things, the following settlements came under enemy fire: Korenok, Nova Sich, Bachivsk, Tovstodubove, Sopych, Rohizne, Ivolzhanske, Mala Korchakivka, Pysarivka, Yunakivka, Khrapivshchyna, Volfyne, Bezsalivka, Sukhodil, Ulanove, Zapsillia, Kindrativka, Hirky, Kozache, Seredyna-Buda, Mohrytsia, Brusky, Khotin, Rudenka, Neskuchne, Iskryskivshchyna, Yastrubshchyna, and Luzhky in Sumy region; Yanzhulivka in Chernihiv region. The settlement of Vilna Sloboda was subjected to an air strike.
Over the past day, aviation of the Defense Forces struck an area of concentration of enemy manpower.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian aggressor carried out one air strike using three guided aerial bombs and conducted 64 shellings of our troops’ positions and populated areas.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian units repelled 22 russian attacks. The invaders tried to attack in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Izbytske, and Chuhunivka, as well as toward the settlements of Buzove and Radkivka.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers tried three times to improve its positions by conducting assault operations toward Novoosynove and Shyikivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: Attempts to break into our defense were repelled; the russian occupiers attacked eight times toward the settlements of Novoiehorivka, Olhivka, Druzheliubivka, Lyman, and Staryi Karavan.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: the enemy carried out two attacks toward the settlements of Orikhuvatka and Mykolaivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: the Defense Forces stopped three attempts by the invaders to advance in the area of Chervone and toward Yurkivka.
Kostiantynivka Direction
08:00 AM: 27 attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted offensive actions in the areas of the settlements of Kostiantynivka and Dovha Balka, as well as toward the settlements of Rozkishne, Mykolaipillia, and Raiske.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: The russian occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Dorozhne and Molodetske, as well as toward the settlements of Toretske, Pavlivka, Novopavlivka, Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, Hannivka, Dobropillia, Svitle, Krasnopillia, Serhiivka, and Muravka.
Oleksandrivka Direction
08:00 AM: the enemy conducted no assault operations.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders 20 times. The enemy tried to advance toward the settlements of Rizdvyanka, Dolynka, Hirke, and Yehorivka.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: the russian enemy attempted to attack twice toward Pavlivka.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers conducted no assault operations.
Volyn and Polissia Directions
08:00 AM: no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings have been detected.
Overall, over the past day, Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 1,790 personnel. Also destroyed were 15 armored combat vehicles, nine artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, one air defense asset, six aircraft, three ground robotic complexes, 693 unmanned aerial vehicles, 230 units of automotive equipment, and three units of special equipment of the enemy.
