Donation Offer Agreement
Thank you for supporting EMPR Media, an independent Ukrainian news organization committed to delivering fact-based journalism, investigative reporting, analysis, multimedia projects, and coverage of Ukraine for a global audience.
Your voluntary contribution helps sustain our editorial mission and enables us to continue producing independent journalism on issues of public importance, including Ukraine, democracy, human rights, international security, and the ongoing consequences of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
Purpose of Donations
All donations made to EMPR Media are voluntary, irrevocable contributions intended to support our editorial, operational, and organizational activities. Donations may be used for purposes including, but not limited to:
- Independent news reporting and journalism
- Investigative reporting
- Coverage of the Russia–Ukraine war and frontline developments
- Political, economic, cultural, and security analysis
- Documentary and multimedia production
- Editorial research, fact-checking, and verification
- Translation and multilingual publishing
- Website hosting, cybersecurity, and technical infrastructure
- Digital publishing and audience development
- Administrative, legal, and operational expenses necessary to maintain EMPR Media’s activities
EMPR Media retains full editorial independence and sole discretion in determining how donated funds are allocated in accordance with its current editorial priorities and operational needs.
Nature of Your Contribution
By making a donation, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Your contribution is voluntary.
- Your donation is made without expectation of receiving goods, services, financial returns, or any other material benefit.
- Your donation does not create any ownership interest, partnership, joint venture, membership, employment relationship, investment, or voting rights in EMPR Media or its affiliated entities.
- Editorial decisions remain entirely independent and are never influenced by donations.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, donations are non-refundable once they have been successfully processed.
Donor Representations
By submitting a donation, you represent and warrant that:
- You are legally authorized to use the payment method provided.
- The donated funds belong to you or you are otherwise authorized to make the payment.
- Your donation complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
- The funds are not derived from unlawful activities, including fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or other prohibited conduct.
- You are making the donation voluntarily and without coercion.
EMPR Media reserves the right to decline, suspend, or refund donations where required to comply with applicable laws, financial regulations, sanctions regimes, or internal compliance policies.
Payment Processing
Donations are processed through trusted third-party payment providers. EMPR Media does not store your complete payment card information. Processing of payment information is subject to the privacy policies and terms of the respective payment service providers.
Privacy
Any personal information collected in connection with your donation will be processed in accordance with the EMPR Media Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
Changes to This Agreement
EMPR Media may update this Donation Offer Agreement from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements, operational practices, or organizational needs.
The revised version becomes effective upon publication on this website unless otherwise stated. We encourage donors to review this page periodically.
Governing Law
This Donation Offer Agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the applicable laws governing the activities of EMPR LLC, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection or data protection laws applicable in your jurisdiction.
