The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on March 30 a strike on an S-400 air defense missile system launcher in Crimea, as well as on the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant in Luhansk region.

“In the area of the settlement of Hvardiiske, the destruction of a high-value launcher belonging to the S-400 ‘Triumf’ surface-to-air missile system has been confirmed,” the statement said.

This was reported by Krym.Realii.

“In temporarily occupied Luhansk region, the Alchevsk Metallurgical Plant, which is involved in the production of large-caliber ammunition, was hit. A large-scale fire has been recorded on the plant’s premises,” the agency noted.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also reported that in the area of the settlement of Novosvitlivka in Luhansk region, “a strike on a military train of the occupying forces has been recorded.”

The Russian command has not commented on this report. The editorial team cannot independently verify the information provided.

Since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion, various facilities on Russian territory have been subjected to air strikes. In 2024 and 2025, oil refineries were most frequently targeted. Russian facilities in the occupied territories of Ukraine have also been struck.

Most of these attacks have been confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which stated that the Defense Forces of Ukraine are “systematically implementing measures aimed at reducing the combat potential of Russian occupation forces, as well as compelling the Russian Federation to cease its armed aggression against Ukraine.”
