Today is the 1509rd day of the Ukraine war with aggression of the Russian Federation.
The Defense Forces are repelling attempts by the occupiers to improve their positions and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment.

Over the past day, a total of 107 combat engagements were recorded.
Yesterday, the enemy deployed 7,702 kamikaze drones and carried out 1,202 shelling attacks on populated areas and our military positions, including 20 using multiple launch rocket systems.
Update as of 04:00 PM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
Since the beginning of the day, the aggressor has carried out 53 attacks on the positions of the Defense Forces.
Artillery shelling of border areas is ongoing. Today, in the Sumy region, the settlements of Tovstodubove, Novoivanivka, Bachivsk, Iskryskivshchyna, Ryzhivka, and Budky were affected. An airstrike was carried out on the settlement of Novoivanivka.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian forces conducted 20 shelling attacks on our positions and settlements over the past day. One assault action by the enemy was recorded.
04:00 PM: one combat engagement took place toward the settlement of Taratutyne. In addition, the enemy carried out one airstrike, dropped four guided bombs, and conducted 34 shelling attacks on populated areas and our military positions, three of which involved multiple launch rocket systems.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the Russians attempted 11 times to break through defensive lines near Synelnykove, Starytsia, Izbytske, Vovchansk, Lyman, and Tsehelne.
04:00 PM: the enemy twice assaulted the positions of our units near the settlements of Zybyne and Vovchansk. One engagement is still ongoing.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian aggressor launched three attacks near Petropavlivka, Podoly, and toward Zahryzove.
04:00 PM: the russian forces attempted twice to improve its tactical position toward the settlements of Novoplatonivka and Novoosynove. One battle is currently ongoing.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers made five attempts to penetrate our defenses, attacking toward Lyman.
04:00 PM: five russian assaults have taken place near Kolodiazi, Dibrova, and Lyman. Four engagements are still ongoing.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped six attempts by the occupiers to advance toward Rai-Oleksandrivka, Ozerne, Kalenyky, and Riznykivka.
04:00 PM: the enemy carried out one attack on Defense Forces positions near Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: russian invaders carried out one attack toward Markove.
04:00 PM: one russian attack repelled in the area of the settlement of Tykhonivka.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupeirs conducted 15 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Novopavlivka, Kucheriiv Yar, and Sofiivka.
04:00 PM: one engagement is ongoing. Eleven russian attempts to advance near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, and Sofiivka were successfully repelled by our defenders.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 28 assault actions by the aggressor near Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Zatyshok, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Molodetske, Muravka, and Novopavlivka.
04:00 PM: the russian occupiers have attempted 16 times to push our troops from their positions near Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Udachne, Zapovidne, Bilytske, Hryshyne, and Muravka. One engagement is still ongoing.
Oleksandrivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian enemy attacked five times near Oleksandrohrad and toward Zelenyi Hai, Sichneve, Kalynivske, and Verbove.
04:00 PM: five combat engagements took place with the enemy near Oleksandrohrad, Zelenyi Hai, Sichneve, Vorone, and Novohryhorivka. Airstrikes were carried out on the outskirts of the settlements of Omelnyk, Yasna Poliana, and Zarichne.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: 12 russian attacks took place near Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Huliaipilske, Staroukrainka, and Myrne.
04:00 PM: the Defense Forces repelled five russian attacks near Zaliznychne, Hirke, and Huliaipole. The enemy conducted airstrikes near the settlements of Vozdvyzhivka, Novomykolaivka, Yehorivka, Charivne, Dolynka, and Kopani.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Russians did not conduct offensive operations.
04:00 PM: russian forces carried out one attack near Stepnohirsk and conducted airstrikes on the areas of Yasna Poliana, Zarichne, and Omelnyk.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: The russian troops conducted three attacks near the Antonivskyi Bridge.
04:00 PM: the russian occupiers conducted three unsuccessful assault actions toward the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.
Volyn and Polissia Directions
08:00 AM and 04:00 PM: no signs of enemy offensive group formation were detected.
Overall, during the declared ceasefire regime, no missile or air strikes or kamikaze drone strikes (of the “Shahed/Herbera” type) were recorded. However, the enemy carried out 1,567 artillery shellings of our positions; conducted 119 assault actions; and launched 9,035 kamikaze drone strikes (including 2,205 of types “Italmas,” “Lancet,” “Molniya,” and 6,830 FPV drones).
In total, since the announcement of the ceasefire regime, 10,721 violations by the enemy have been recorded.
Ukrainian defenders continue to provide effective resistance across all sections of the front.
Overall, in the past day, Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 960 personnel. Additionally, our forces destroyed 2 tanks, 2 armored combat vehicles, 44 artillery systems, 1 multiple launch rocket system, 1 air defense system, 1,528 unmanned aerial vehicles, 185 units of automotive equipment, and 2 units of special equipment.
