Day 1,511 of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.
The Defense Forces are repelling attempts by the occupiers to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment across various sectors of the front.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 125 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out one missile strike using two missiles, conducted 70 airstrikes, and dropped 246 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it deployed 10,256 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,828 shelling attacks on populated areas and our military positions, including 72 using multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor conducted airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Novoivanivka (Sumy region); Prosyana and Pysantsi (Dnipropetrovsk region); Vozdvyzhivska, Novomykolaivka, Yehorivka, Charivne, Dolynka, Verkhna Tersa, and Kopani (Zaporizhzhia region); and Tomaryne (Kherson region).
Over the past day, aircraft of the Defense Forces struck five areas of concentration of enemy personnel.

08:00 AM: one combat engagement took place, with the enemy advancing toward the settlement of Taratutyne. The russian occupiers carried out two airstrikes, dropped eight guided bombs, and conducted 82 shelling attacks on populated areas and our positions, three of which involved multiple launch rocket systems.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian forces launched five assaults on the positions of our units near the settlements of Zybyne, Lyman, Synelnykove, and Vovchansk.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian aggressor carried out three attacks toward the settlements of Kivsharivka, Novoplatonivka, and Novoosynove.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian forces repelled eight attempts by the occupiers to advance near Dibrova, Drobyshcheve, and Lyman.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped two enemy attempts to advance toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled one attack in the Kramatorsk direction.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian enemy conducted 17 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Rusyn Yar, Sofiivka, and Novopavlivka.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian forces stopped 21 assault actions by the aggressor near Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Udachne, Zapovidne, Bilytske, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, and Muravka.

Overall, over the past day, Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 820 personnel. Additionally, the enemy lost 2 tanks, 3 armored combat vehicles, 38 artillery systems, 4 multiple launch rocket systems, 2,459 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 201 units of automotive equipment.
