Today is the 1,512 of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
The Defense Forces are repelling attempts by the occupiers to improve their positions and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 212 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out one missile strike using one missile, deployed 6,672 kamikaze drones, and conducted 2,917 shelling attacks on populated areas and our military positions, including 48 using multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Ivanivka and Katerynivka (Dnipropetrovsk region); Novoukrainka, Shyroke, Novoselivka, Rivne, Dolynka, Omelnyk, Novoivanivka, Komyshuvakha, Shevchenkivske, and Orikhiv (Zaporizhzhia region).
Over the past day, aircraft, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck five areas of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment, two UAV control points, and one multiple launch rocket system.

08:00 AM: the russian forces carried out 70 shelling attacks on our positions and settlements over the past day, nine of which involved multiple launch rocket systems. Six enemy assault actions were recorded.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupeirs attempted nine times to break through defensive lines near Vovchansk, Starytsia, and Lyman.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian aggressor conducted ten attacks toward Kurylivka, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, Nova Kruhliakivka, Zahryzove, Bohuslavka, and Novoplatonivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: the russian enemy made 12 attempts to penetrate our defenses, attacking toward the settlements of Novoserhiivka, Lyman, Drobyshcheve, and Dibrova.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian armed forces stopped four russian attempts to advance toward Zakytne, Ozerne, and Riznykivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian invaders carried out four attacks near Chasiv Yar, Fedorivka Druha, Bondarne, and Markove.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers conducted 31 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Berestok, Kleban-Byk, Rusyn Yar, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Yablunivka, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 42 assault actions by the aggressor near Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Udachne, Bilytske, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Muravka, Molodetske, and toward Dorozhne and Serhiivka.
Oleksandrivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian forces attacked 11 times near Oleksandrohrad, Vorone, Verbove, Novohryhorivka, Kalynivske, and Zlahoda.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: 13 russian attacks took place near Myrne, Huliaipole, and toward Hirke, Dobropillia, and Zaliznychne.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: the Russians did not conduct assault operations.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian enemy carried out four unsuccessful assault actions toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
Volyn and Polissia Directions

Ukrainian defenders continue to provide effective resistance across all sections of the front.
Overall, over the past day, Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 1,010 personnel. Additionally, Ukrainian forces destroyed 1 tank, 1 armored combat vehicle, 50 artillery systems, 4 multiple launch rocket systems, 1,388 unmanned aerial vehicles, 253 units of automotive equipment, and 2 units of special equipment.
