Day 1,513 of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.
The Defense Forces are repelling attempts by the occupiers to improve their positions and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 153 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out two missile strikes using 24 missiles, conducted 76 airstrikes, and dropped 225 guided aerial bombs. In addition, it deployed 9,140 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,456 shelling attacks on populated areas and our military positions, including 59 using multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor conducted airstrikes, in particular in the areas of the settlements of Ivanivka and Pidhavrylivka (Dnipropetrovsk region); Huliaipilske, Vozdvyzhivka, Charivne, Kopani, and Orikhiv (Zaporizhzhia region).
Over the past day, aircraft, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck seven areas of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment.

08:00 AM: the russian troops attempted four times to break through defensive lines near Starytsia, Vovchansk, and Vovchanski Khutory.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian aggressor carried out two attacks toward Novoplatonivka.

08:00 AM: the russian enemy made five attempts to penetrate our defenses, attacking toward Shyikivka, Novoserhiivka, and Lyman.
