The 1,525th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to repel attempts by occupying forces to improve their positions and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting significant losses in personnel and equipment.

Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine

A total of 226 combat engagements were recorded over the past 24 hours.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 76 airstrikes, dropping 247 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 6,251 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,283 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 34 strikes using multiple launch rocket systems.

Airstrikes targeted, among other areas, the settlements of Pokrovske, Lisne, Novoselivka, and Havrylivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. In the Zaporizhzhia region, airstrikes affected Rizdvianka, Verkhnia Tersa, Shyroke, Svoboda, Dolynka, Rivne, Novoselivka, Liubytske, Chervona Krynytsia, Odarivka, Zaporozhets, and Novooleksandrivka.

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force, missile troops, and artillery struck four areas of enemy troop concentration.

Orikhiv Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled one russian attempt to advance near Stepove.

Prydniprovskyi Direction

Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of enemy forces and maintain effective resistance across all sectors of the front.

Total Russian losses over the past 24 hours amounted to 1,180 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed 16 armored combat vehicles, 34 artillery systems, two multiple launch rocket systems, 1,039 unmanned aerial vehicles, 276 vehicles, and five units of specialized equipment.
