The 1,526th day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to repel attempts by occupying troops to advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment across multiple sectors of the front.

Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine

A total of 189 combat engagements were recorded over the past 24 hours.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 84 airstrikes, dropping 234 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 8,409 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,019 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 42 strikes using multiple launch rocket systems.

Airstrikes targeted, among other areas, the settlements of Zelene, Rivne, Charivne, Dolynka, Huliaipilske, Liubytske, Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhivske, Malokaterynivka, and Orikhiv in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force, missile troops, and artillery struck four enemy unmanned aerial vehicle control points, five areas of troop concentration, and one additional key enemy target.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian forces repelled one enemy attack. Russian troops carried out 86 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including five using multiple launch rocket systems, and conducted six airstrikes using 15 guided bombs.

Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction

08:00 AM: the russian enemy launched eight assaults on Ukrainian positions near the settlement of Starytsia and toward Hrafske, Okhrimivka, Mala Vovcha, Chervona Zoria, and Bochkove.

Kupiansk Direction

08:00 AM: the russian aggressor carried out four attacks near Novoplatonivka and Kupiansk.

Lyman Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian forces repelled six enemy attempts to advance near the settlements of Drobysheve and Dibrova.

Sloviansk Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped six enemy attempts to advance in the area of Yampil and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.

Kramatorsk and Orikhiv Directions

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled 48 assault attempts in the areas of Novopavlivka, Sofiivka, Vilne, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Udachne, Muravka, and Novopidhirne.

Oleksandrivka Direction

08:00 AM: the russian troops launched six attacks near Oleksandrohrad, Stepove, Zlahoda, and Krasnohirsk.

Huliaipole Direction

08:00 AM: 29 russian attacks were recorded in the areas of Zaliznychne, Huliaipilske, Dobropillia, Sviatopetrivka, Varvarivka, Staroukrainka, Olenokostiantynivka, and Zelene, as well as toward Hirke and Charivne.

Prydniprovskyi Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian units stopped three russian attacks toward Antonivka and Kruglyk Island.

Volyn and Polissia Directions

08:00 AM: No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected in the Volyn and Polissia directions.

Ukrainian forces continue systematically degrading enemy capabilities and maintaining effective resistance along the entire line of contact.

Total Russian losses over the past 24 hours amounted to 1,180 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed two tanks, three armored combat vehicles, 54 artillery systems, two air defense systems, 1,775 unmanned aerial vehicles, 245 vehicles, and five units of specialized equipment.
