Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine

Over the past 24 hours, a total of 177 combat engagements have been recorded.

Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile strikes using two missiles, carried out 69 airstrikes, and dropped 226 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 9,683 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,326 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 48 using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

The aggressor also carried out airstrikes in the following areas: in Sumy region – Tovstodubove and Vilna Sloboda; in Dnipropetrovsk region – Tykhe and Velykomykhailivka; and in Zaporizhzhia region – Zirnytsia, Hirske, Kopani, Barvinivka, Shyroke, Novoselivka, Omelnyk, Mykilske, Mala Tokmachka, Zarichne, Novooleksandrivka, Vozdvyzhivka, Liubytske, Huliaipilske, Dolynka, Charivne, Tavriiske, and Orikhiv.

Over the past day, Ukraine’s Air Force, missile troops, and artillery struck 15 areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, as well as two command posts, one air defense system, and a UAV control center.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction

08:00 AM: five combat engagements took place over the past day. The enemy launched two airstrikes using five guided aerial bombs and carried out 84 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including two with MLRS.

Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction

08:00 AM: the russian enemy attacked Ukrainian positions nine times in the areas of Vovchansk, Starytsia, Vovchanski Khutory, Okhrimivka, and Krasne Pershe.

Kupiansk Direction

08:00 AM: Russian forces conducted three attacks toward Novoosynove, Hlushkivka, and Kupiansk.

Lyman Direction

08:00 AM: the enemy attempted seven times to break through Ukrainian defenses, attacking toward Drobysheve, Stavky, and Lyman.

Sloviansk Direction

08:00 AM: the russian aggressor carried out seven assault operations toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and in the areas of Yampil, Zakytne, and Riznykivka.

Kramatorsk and Orikhiv Directions

08:00 AM: the russian occupiers launched one attack toward Nykyforivka.

Kostyantinivka Direction

08:00 AM: the Russians carried out 22 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Oleksandro-Shultyne, and Stepanivka.

Pokrovsk Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled 41 assault attempts by the aggressor toward Novopavlivka, Bilytske, Dorozhne, Vilne, Serhiivka, Kucheriv Yar, and in the areas of Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Nykanorivka, Rivne, Molodetske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, and Novopidhorodne.

Oleksandrivka Direction

08:00 AM: the russian enemy attacked six times toward Oleksandrohrad, Kalynivske, and Novyi Zaporizhzhia.

Huliaipole Direction

08:00 AM: 24 russian attacks were recorded in the areas of Pryluky, Olenokostiantynivka, Dobropillia, Varvarivka, Huliaipole, and toward Zaliznychne, Staroukrainka, Huliaipilske, Sviatopetrivka, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.

Orikhiv Direction

08:00 AM: the Russian occupiers carried out one attack toward Novoandriivka.

Prydniprovskyi Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian forces successfully repelled four russian assaults near the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.

Volyn and Polissia Directions

08:00 AM: No signs of russian offensive group formations were detected.

Ukrainian defenders continue systematically destroying the enemy and maintaining effective resistance along the entire front line.

Total Russian losses over the past day amounted to 1,470 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed seven tanks, seven armored combat vehicles, 119 artillery systems, one MLRS, two helicopters, 1,327 UAVs, 375 vehicles, and two units of special equipment.
