Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine

In total, 138 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out 89 airstrikes and dropped 270 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 9,976 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,379 shelling attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, including 42 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.

The aggressor launched airstrikes, in particular, in the areas of the settlements of Pysantsi in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Vozdvyzhivska, Verkhnya Tersa, Lisne, Kopani, Rivne, Liubytske, Huliaipilske, Mykilske, Vasynivka, Omelnyk, Orikhiv, Odarivka, Zarichne, Shchaslyve, and Komyshuvakha in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Over the past day, aircraft, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck one command post, two artillery systems, one air defense asset, one ammunition depot, and seven areas where enemy personnel were concentrated.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction

08:00 AM: three combat engagements took place over the past day. The enemy carried out 100 shelling attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions, two of which involved multiple launch rocket systems, and conducted two airstrikes using five guided bombs.

Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction

08:00 AM: the russian occupiers launched eight assaults on our positions in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Izbytske, Krasne Pershe, Mala Vovcha, and Fyholivka.

Kupiansk Direction

08:00 AM: the russian aggressor attacked twice in the area of Petropavlivka.

Lyman Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled 13 attempts by the invaders to advance in the areas of the settlements of Ozerne, Druzhliubivka, Lyman, Drobysheve, and Stavky.

Sloviansk Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped four attempts by the occupiers to move forward in the areas of Kryva Luka, Zakitne, Riznykivka, and Rai-Oleksandrivka.

Kramatorsk Direction

Kostyantinivka Direction

08:00 AM: the russian enemy carried out seven attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, and Ivanopillia.

Oleksandrivka Direction

08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked nine times in the areas of Oleksandrohrad, Krasnohirskе, Kalynivske, Novohryhorivka, Yehorivka, Sichneve, and Zlahoda.

Huliaipole Direction

08:00 AM: 18 russian attacks took place in the areas of Varvarivka, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Huliaipilske, Tsvitkove, and Dobropillia.

Orikhiv Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped one russian attempt to advance near Stepnohirsk.

Prydniprovskyi Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian units repelled three russian attacks near Bilogrudyi Island and the Antonivskyi Bridge.

Volyn and Polissia Directions

08:00 AM: No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected.

Overall, over the past day, the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,240 personnel. Ukrainian warriors also neutralized three tanks, four armored combat vehicles, 73 artillery systems, six multiple launch rocket systems, 2,305 unmanned aerial vehicles, 265 units of automotive equipment, and one piece of special equipment.
