Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine

Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile strikes, using 74 missiles, as well as 82 air strikes, dropping 226 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 9,297 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,726 attacks against populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 49 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

Over the past day, the Air Force, Missile Forces, and Artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck six areas of enemy troop concentration and six UAV command posts.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction

08:00 AM: the russian aggressor carried out 56 attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including one attack using MLRS. Three enemy assault actions were recorded.

Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction

08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked Ukrainian positions five times toward the settlements of Starytsia, Izbytske, Vilcha, Vovchansk, and Vovchanski Khutory.

Kupiansk Direction

08:00 AM: Russian forces launched four attacks toward Kupiansk, Kindrashivka, Kurylivka, and Podoly.

Lyman Direction

08:00 AM: the russian troops attempted 23 times to break through Ukrainian defenses, attacking in the areas of Zarichne, Lyman, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Dibrova, Novomykhailivka, Novoiehorivka, Ozerne, and Yampil.

Sloviansk Direction

08:00 AM: Russian forces launched 12 assaults toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and in the areas of Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, Zakitne, and Kalenyky.

Huliaipole Direction
