Today is the 1,573st day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine

A total of 213 combat engagements were recorded along the frontline over the past day.

According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out 81 air strikes, dropping 244 guided aerial bombs (KABs). In addition, Russian forces launched 9,752 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,131 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 70 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).

Over the past day, the Air Force, Missile Forces, and Artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck 14 areas of enemy troop concentration, two artillery systems, and two UAV command posts.

A total of 54 russian attacks have been recorded since the beginning of the day.

The aggressor continues to shell border areas. Today, in Sumy Oblast, the settlements of Korenok, Rohizne, Ulanove, Volfyne, Bachivsk, Fotovyzh, Bunyachyne, Velyka Berezka, Zarichchia, Kucherivka, Budky, and Stiahailivka came under fire. In Chernihiv Oblast, the settlements of Yanzhulivka, Kliusy, and Yasna Poliana were targeted. Air strikes were also carried out against Ulanove, Korenok, and Mala Slobidka in Sumy Oblast.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction

08:00 AM: two combat engagements took place during the past day. The aggressor launched three air strikes using six guided aerial bombs and carried out 65 attacks, including three with multiple launch rocket systems.

04:00 PM: the russian occupiers conducted 26 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including one strike using a multiple launch rocket system (MLRS). Three enemy assault actions were recorded.

Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction

08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked the positions of Ukrainian units eight times in the areas of Hraniv, Vovchansk, and Starytsia, as well as toward Ternova and Izbytske.

04:00 PM: the russian troops attempted four times to improve its tactical position in the areas of Izbytske, Vilcha, Vovchansk, and Vovchanski Khutory. Two of these engagements are still ongoing.

Kupiansk Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled five russian attempts to advance toward the settlements of Novoplatonivka, Novoosynove, and Kurylivka.

04:00 PM: no russian assault actions were recorded.

Lyman Direction

08:00 AM: the russian troops attempted 17 times to break through Ukrainian defenses in the areas of Novomykhailivka, Novoselivka, Zarichne, and Yampil, as well as toward Drobysheve, Ozerne, Lyman, and Dibrova.

04:00 PM: the russian occupiers launched 12 attacks toward Zarichne, Lyman, Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Dibrova, and Yampil. Two of these attacks are still ongoing.

Sloviansk Direction

08:00 AM: Russian forces launched ten assaults toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka, and in the area of Zakitne.

04:00 PM: Russian forces attempted six times to improve their position toward Zakitne, Rai-Oleksandrivka, and Kryva Luka.

Kramatorsk Direction

08:00 AM: the Russian occupiers conducted no offensive operations.

04:00 PM: the russian troops conducted no active offensive operations.

Kostyantinivka Direction

08:00 AM: Russian occupiers carried out 15 attacks near the settlements of Pleshchiivka, Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, and Stepanivka.

04:00 PM: Russian forces carried out seven attacks toward the settlements of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Stepanivka, and Vilne. One engagement is still ongoing.

Pokrovsk Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 30 russian assault actions in the areas of Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Nykanorivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Filiia, as well as toward the settlements of Bilytske, Shevchenko, Serhiivka, Dorozhne, Vilne, Kucheriv Yar, and Novopavlivka.

04:00 PM: since the beginning of the day, Russian occupiers have attempted eight times to push Ukrainian troops from their positions toward Dobropillia, Novyi Donbas, Rodynske, Novooleksandrivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, and Novopavlivka.

Oleksandrivka Direction

08:00 AM: the enemy attacked twice in the areas of Oleksandrohrad and Vorone.

04:00 PM: the russian enemy made two attempts to advance in the areas of Zlahoda and Kalynivske.

Huliaipole Direction

08:00 AM: Russian forces carried out 23 attacks in the areas of Dobropillia, Huliaipole, and Pryluky, and toward Huliaipilske, Hirke, Verkhnia Tersa, Zaliznychne, Vozdvyzhivka, and Charivne.

04:00 PM: the russian troops carried out nine attacks against the positions of Ukrainian defenders toward Zlahoda, Dobropillia, Radisne, Rivnopillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Huliaipilske, Dolynka, and Charivne. One of these attacks is still underway.

Orikhiv Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled one russian attempt to advance near Shcherbaky.

04:00 PM: the russian forces conducted two assault operations toward Pavlivka. One of them is still ongoing.

Prydniprovskyi Direction

08:00 AM: the russian troops conducted no offensive operations.

04:00 PM: the enemy attacked once toward Antonivka.

Volyn and Polissia Direction

08:00 AM and 04:00 PM: No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected.

Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of enemy forces and maintain effective resistance across all sectors of the front.

Overall, Russian losses during the past day amounted to 1,320 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed or neutralized:
