Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 263 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
According to updated information, yesterday the enemy carried out one missile strike, using 73 missiles, conducted 80 airstrikes, and dropped 252 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 9,735 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,156 attacks on populated areas and the positions of Ukrainian troops, including 55 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck two russian troop concentration areas, two command posts, four artillery systems, and five unmanned aerial vehicle control centers.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: one combat engagement took place over the past day. The aggressor carried out two airstrikes using three guided aerial bombs (KABs) and launched 76 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas, including two attacks using MLRS.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked the positions of Ukrainian units four times in the area of Starytsia and toward the settlements of Izbytske and Vilcha.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped five enemy attempts to advance toward Kupiansk, Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, and Kurylivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attempted 14 times to break through Ukrainian defenses toward Drobysheve, Dibrova, and Lyman, as well as in the areas of Zarichne and Yampil.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces launched 20 assaults in the areas of Zakitne and Riznykivka, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Kryva Luka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers conducted no offensive operations.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers carried out 12 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Pleshchiivka, and Stepanivka, and toward Novopavlivka.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled 40 russian assault actions in the areas of Rodynske, Vasylivka, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, and Udachne, as well as toward the settlements of Stepy, Ivanivka, Serhiivka, Shevchenko, and Dorozhne.
Oleksandrivka Direction
08:00 AM: Russians attacked seven times in the areas of Vorone and Ternove, and toward Kalynivske.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers carried out 44 attacks in the areas of Dobropillia, Zlahoda, Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka, and Pryluky, and toward Vozdvyzhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipilske, Charivne, Tsvitkove, and Hirke.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped three enemy attempts to advance near the settlement of Shcherbaky.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled two attacks toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
Volyn and Polissia Directions
08:00 AM: no signs of the formation of russian offensive groupings were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of enemy forces and are effectively resisting the invaders across all sectors of the front.
Overall, Russian occupation forces lost 1,130 personnel over the past day. Ukrainian forces also destroyed or neutralized five tanks, seven armored combat vehicles, 60 artillery systems, five multiple launch rocket systems, three air defense systems, six ground robotic systems, 40 missiles, 1,853 unmanned aerial vehicles, 437 vehicles, and four pieces of specialized enemy equipment.
