Today is the 1,564th day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 269 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
According to updated information, yesterday the enemy launched one missile strike using a single missile and carried out 96 airstrikes, dropping 295 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 10,064 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,135 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 20 strikes using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Over the past day, the Air Force, Missile Forces, and Artillery of Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck six areas of enemy personnel concentration, four UAV command posts, and five enemy artillery systems.
Update as of 04:00 PM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
Since the beginning of the day, a high intensity of combat operations has been recorded. Russian occupation forces have launched 64 assaults on the positions of Ukrainian units. At the same time, Russian artillery continues intensive shelling of Ukraine’s border areas.
Throughout the day, the settlements of Rohizne, Ryzhivka, Korenok, Buniakyne, Bachivsk, Sokhny, Neskuchne, Vovkivka, Sopych, and Prohres in Sumy Oblast came under enemy fire. An airstrike was also recorded on the town of Vorozhba in Sumy Oblast.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: Three combat engagements took place over the past day. The russian aggressor launched three airstrikes using four guided aerial bombs (KABs) and carried out 72 attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including two using MLRS.
04:00 PM: two combat engagements took place. In these sectors, the Russians also shelled Ukrainian defensive positions and nearby settlements 30 times.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: The russian enemy attacked Ukrainian positions seven times near Starytsia and in the directions of Izbytske, Okhrimivka, and Kolodiazne.
04:00 PM: Russian forces made one attempt to break through Ukrainian defenses near the town of Vovchansk.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled four russian attempts to advance toward the settlements of Kupiansk and Podoly.
04:00 PM: russian occupation forces launched two attacks aimed at pushing Ukrainian troops from their positions near Pishchane and Kupiansk. One combat engagement is still ongoing.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: The russian troops attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses 29 times in the areas of Novoselivka, Zarichne, Drobysheve, and toward Lyman and Ozerne.
04:00 PM: The russian aggressor demonstrated offensive activity, where four assault attempts were recorded near the settlements of Novoselivka, Stavky, and Drobysheve. One engagement is currently underway.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces launched nine assaults near Zakitne and toward Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka.
04:00 PM: Ukrainian units neutralized one russian attempt to advance near the settlement of Kryva Luka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: The russian troops made four unsuccessful attempts to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions near Nykyforivka, Minkivka, Chasiv Yar, and toward Malynivka.
04:00 PM: one russian offensive action was recorded near Chasiv Yar. The attack was unsuccessful.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: Russian occupation forces carried out 22 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Berestok, Rusyn Yar, and Toretske, as well as toward Illinivka, Kucheriv Yar, Vilne, and Nove Shakhove.
04:00 PM: Ukrainian forces successfully repelled twelve enemy attacks aimed at breaching defensive lines near Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Rusyniv Yar, and Illinivka.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 31 assault actions by the aggressor in the areas of Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Kotlyne, Hryshyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, and Muravka, as well as toward Dorozhne, Novooleksandrivka, and Novopidhorodne.
04:00 PM: 21 assault actions were recorded as Russian forces attempted to dislodge Ukrainian units from their positions near Toretske, Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Zapovidne, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Kotlyne, Novopavlivka, and Udachne. Five combat engagements are still ongoing.
Oleksandrivka Direction
08:00 AM: The enemy attacked 11 times in the areas of Sichneve, Zelenyi Hai, Oleksandrohrad, and Ternove, as well as toward Vorone.
04:00 PM: Ukraine’s Defense Forces repelled five Russian assaults in the areas of Tovste, Sichneve, Novoselivka, Vorone, and Verbove. One combat engagement remains in progress.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces conducted 40 attacks in the areas of Pryluky, Zlahoda, Rybne, Sviatopetrivka, and Zaliznychne, and toward Dobropillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Hirke, Huliaipilske, Tsvitkove, Verkhnia Tersa, Staroukrainka, and Charivne.
04:00 PM: Ukrainian units held back eight russian attacks near Dobropillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka, Staroukrainka, Huliaipilske, and Charivne. Six additional battles are currently ongoing.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: The russian occupiers launched one assault on Ukrainian positions near the settlement of Stepove.
04:00 PM: no offensive actions by Russian occupation forces were recorded during the day.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled one russian offensive action toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
04:00 PM: two combat engagements took place today near the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.
Volyn and Polissia Directions
08:00 AM and 04:00 PM: No signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of enemy forces and maintain effective resistance across all sectors of the front.
Overall, Russian losses during the past day amounted to 1,380 personnel.
In addition, Ukrainian forces neutralized:

- 82 artillery systems
- 5 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS)
- 1 air defense system
- 9 ground robotic systems

The Defense Forces of Ukraine continue to inflict significant losses on the enemy while defending the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
