Today is the 1,565th day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 223 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
During the previous day, the enemy carried out 93 airstrikes, dropping 269 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces launched 9,928 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,204 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 45 strikes using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
The aggressor also conducted airstrikes in the areas of Vorozhba, Pyharivka, and Vilna Sloboda in Sumy Oblast.
Over the past day, the Air Force of Ukraine’s Defense Forces struck three areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, two artillery systems, and eight enemy unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) command posts.

Since the beginning of the day, 196 combat engagements have been recorded along the frontline.
Throughout the day, the aggressor carried out 50 airstrikes, employing 148 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces launched 6,242 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,338 attacks using various types of weapons against Ukrainian positions and nearby settlements.
Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: four combat engagements took place during the past day. The enemy carried out 78 attacks on Ukrainian positions and nearby settlements.
10:00 PM: one combat engagement took place. The russian occupiers carried out one airstrike using a guided aerial bomb (KAB) and conducted 64 attacks on settlements and Ukrainian military positions, including five strikes using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces launched five assaults on Ukrainian positions near Starytsia, Lyman, Vovchansk, and Okhrimivka.
10:00 PM: Russian occupation forces launched five assaults on the defensive positions of Ukrainian units near Vovchanski Khutory and toward Okhrimivka. Three combat engagements are still ongoing.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled three russian attacks near Novoplatonivka, Pishchane, and Kupiansk.
10:00 PM: Russian forces launched one attack on Defense Forces positions toward the settlement of Hlushkivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian troops thwarted ten attempts by Russian forces to advance near Novoselivka, Druzheliubivka, Ozerne, Stavky, and Drobysheve.
10:00 PM: Ukrainian troops successfully repelled 15 enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Novoselivka, Drobysheve, Stavky, Dibrova, and toward Shyikivka and Lyman. One combat engagement remains active.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped eight russian occupiers attempts to advance in the areas of Rai-Oleksandrivka, Riznykivka, Kryva Luka, and Zakitne.
10:00 PM: the Defense Forces completely thwarted eight russian attempts to break through near Zakitne, Riznykivka, and toward the settlements of Kryva Luka and Rai-Oleksandrivka. Two combat engagements are still ongoing.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian forces repelled one enemy attack near Chasiv Yar.
10:00 PM: Ukrainian defenders repelled one offensive action by Russian occupation forces toward Tykhonivka.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian forces carried out 17 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Pleshchiivka, Rusyniv Yar, and Illinivka.
10:00 PM: the Defense Forces successfully repelled 15 enemy assaults in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Pleshchiivka, Rusyniv Yar, and Illinivka.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 46 assault actions by the russian aggressor in the areas of Toretske, Sofiivka, Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, Matiashieve, Vasylivka, Dorozhne, Vilne, Novyi Donbas, Zapovidne, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Shevchenko, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Kotlyne, Novopavlivka, and Udachne.
10:00 PM: the russian forces carried out 26 attacks. Russian forces attempted to break through Ukrainian defenses in the areas of Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, and Udachne, as well as toward Novyi Donbas, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenko, Bilytske, Serhiivka, and Novopavlivka. Three combat engagements are still ongoing in this sector. According to preliminary data, 40 Russian occupiers were eliminated in the Pokrovsk direction today, while another 13 were wounded. Ukrainian troops destroyed one electronic warfare system, one vehicle, four pieces of special equipment, and two enemy ammunition depots. In addition, one tank, two vehicles, three artillery pieces, and 11 personnel shelters were damaged. Ukrainian forces also destroyed or suppressed 274 enemy drones of various types using electronic warfare systems.
Oleksandrivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian troops launched ten attacks in the areas of Vorone, Oleksandrohrad, Voskresenka, Sichneve, Hrushivske, Verbove, and Ternove.
10:00 PM: Russian forces attempted five times to advance in the areas of Ternove and Vorone and toward Dobropillia. Two combat engagements remain ongoing.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: 28 russian attacks were recorded near Dobropillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Zaliznychne, Olenokostiantynivka, Staroukrainka, Huliaipilske, Rybne, Pryluky, Rizdvianka, Verkhnia Tersa, Tsvitkove, and Charivne.
10:00 PM: another 28 enemy attacks were recorded near the settlements of Rybne, Varvarivka, and Zaliznychne, as well as toward Novoselivka, Dobropillia, Vozdvyzhivka, Tsvitkove, Staroukrainka, Huliaipilske, and Charivne. Three combat engagements are still underway.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Russian forces made three attempts to break through Ukrainian defenses near Shcherbaky.
10:00 PM: Russian forces conducted no offensive actions.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: two combat engagements took place in the areas of the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilohrudyi Island.
10:00 PM: Russian forces conducted no offensive actions.
Volyn and Polissia Directions
08:00 AM and 10:00 PM: no signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected.
Overall, Russian losses over the past day amounted to 1,350 personnel.
In addition, Ukraine’s Defense Forces destroyed:

- 4 armored combat vehicles;
- 82 artillery systems;
- 7 multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS);
- 2 air defense systems;
- 10 ground robotic systems;
- 2,245 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs);
- 393 vehicles and fuel tankers;
- 4 units of special equipment.
Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to inflict significant losses on Russian occupation forces while defending the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
