Today is the 1490st day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.

The Defense Forces are repelling attempts by the occupiers to improve their positions and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy across various sections of the front.

Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine

In total, 168 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out one missile strike using four missiles, as well as 75 airstrikes, dropping 255 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 9,027 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,727 shelling attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops, including 86 using multiple launch rocket systems.

The aggressor launched airstrikes, in particular, in the areas of the settlements of Bachivsk in the Sumy region; Prosyana, Oleksiivka, Ivanivka, Pokrovske, Oleksandrivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region; Verkhna Tersa, Vozdvyzhivska, Babashi, Danylivka, Zalyvne, Huliaipilske, Orikhiv, Dolynka, and Omelnyk in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Over the past day, aviation, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck six areas of concentration of enemy personnel, a UAV control point, and a command and observation post of the occupiers.

08:00 AM: 13 combat engagements took place over the past day, while the enemy carried out 85 shelling attacks, including three using multiple launch rocket systems.

Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction

08:00 AM: the Russians launched five assaults on the positions of our units near the settlements of Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Starytsia, and Okhrimivka.

Kupiansk Direction

08:00 AM: the russian aggressor attacked six times near the settlements of Petropavlivka, Borivska Andriivka, Novoplatonivka, and Bohuslavka.

Lyman Direction

08:00 AM: the Russians attacked five times, attempting to penetrate our defenses near Lyman, Dibrova, and Drobysheve.

Sloviansk Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped seven attempts by the russian occupiers to advance in the areas of the settlements of Yampil, Rai-Oleksandrivka, Platonivka, and Riznykivka.

Kramatorsk Direction

Kostyantinivka Direction

08:00 AM: the russians carried out 17 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Kleban-Byk, Sofiivka, Ivanopillia, and toward Novopavlivka.

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 34 assault actions by the aggressor in the areas of Toretske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Hryshyne, Pokrovsk, Filiia, Udachne, Molodetske, and toward Novooleksandrivka and Svitle.

08:00 AM: the russians attacked ten times in the areas of Oleksandrohrad, Stepove, Novohryhorivka, Krasnohirsk, and Zlahoda.

08:00 AM: 18 russian attacks took place in the areas of Olenokostiantynivka, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Varvarivka, Zelene, Sviatopetrivka, and Myrne.

Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy and provide effective resistance across all sections of the front.

In total, over the past day, Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 890 personnel. The enemy also lost six tanks, three armored combat vehicles, 33 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, 1,023 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 180 vehicles.
