Today is the 1491st day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.
Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to repel attempts by occupying forces to improve their positions and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting significant losses in personnel and equipment across multiple sectors of the front.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 191 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out one missile strike using 30 missiles, launched 69 airstrikes, and dropped 218 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 9,879 kamikaze drones and conducted 4,049 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 111 using multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor also carried out airstrikes, in particular in areas of settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region — Ivanivka, Prosyana, Orly, and Pokrovske — as well as Novoselivka, Vozdvyzhivka, Svitla Dolyna, Kopani, Svoboda, Yehorivka, Lisne, Orikhiv, and Shyroke in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Over the past day, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck one important target of the Russian invaders.

08:00 AM: the russian forces carried out 77 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and settlements, including three using MLRS. They also conducted four airstrikes using 10 guided aerial bombs. One enemy assault was recorded during the day.

08:00 AM: the russians attempted four times to break through Ukrainian defensive lines near Vovchansk and toward Okhrimivka.

08:00 AM: the russian forces launched five attacks toward Petropavlivka, Novoosynove, Novoplatonivka, and Kurylivka.
