Today is the 1494st day of the Russian Federation’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.

Ukraine’s Defense Forces continue to repel attempts by Russian troops to improve their positions and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting significant losses in manpower and equipment across multiple sectors of the front.

Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine

A total of 181 combat engagements were recorded over the past 24 hours.

Yesterday, Russian forces carried out 59 airstrikes, dropping 228 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 8,269 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,567 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions, including 67 using multiple launch rocket systems.

Airstrikes were reported, in particular, in the areas of settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region — Pokrovske, Levadne, Pidhavrylivka, and Ivanivka — as well as Tsvitkove, Novoselivka, Dolynka, Shyroke, Kopani, Verkhna Tersa, Vozdvyzhivka, Liubytske, Hirke, Huliaipilske, Orikhiv, and Preobrazhenka in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Over the past day, Ukrainian Air Force units struck three areas where Russian personnel were concentrated.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction

08:00 AM: five combat engagements took place. The enemy carried out one airstrike, dropped three aerial bombs, and conducted 89 shelling attacks, including five using MLRS.

Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction

08:00 AM: Russian forces launched five assaults toward the settlements of Prylipka, Vovchansk, Zybyne, Mala Vovcha, and Okhrimivka.

Kupiansk Direction

08:00 AM: the russian aggressor carried out eight attacks toward Petropavlivka, Kurylivka, Hlushkivka, Novoplatonivka, Podoly, Novoosynove, and Pishchane.

Lyman Direction

08:00 AM: the russian troops attacked nine times, attempting to break through Ukrainian defenses toward Novoserhiivka, Stavky, Drobysheve, Lyman, and near Serednie.

Sloviansk Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled six attempts by Russian forces to advance near Platonivka and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and Riznykivka.

Kramatorsk Direction

08:00 AM: the russian forces conducted three offensive actions toward Markove and Chervone.

Kostyantinivka Direction

08:00 AM: Russian forces carried out 35 attacks toward Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Stepanivka, Novopavlivka, and near Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Yablunivka, and Sofiivka.

Pokrovsk Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled 36 assault actions near Nykanorivka, Myrnohrad, Rodynske, Pokrovsk, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Muravka, and Novomykolaivka, as well as toward Kucheriv Yar, Bilytske, Nove Shakhove, Novopidhorodne, and Novopavlivka.

Oleksandrivka Direction

08:00 AM: the russian enemy attacked four times toward Oleksandrohrad, Verbove, and Kalynivske.

Huliaipole Direction

08:00 AM: 21 attacks were recorded toward Varvarivka, Staroukrainka, Olenokostiantynivka, Zelene, Zaliznychne, and near Myrne.

Orikhiv Direction

08:00 AM: no active offensive operations were recorded over the past day.

Prydniprovskyi Direction

08:00 AM: Ukrainian units repelled one enemy attack near the Antonivskyi Bridge.

Volyn and Polissia Directions

08:00 AM: no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected.

Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of Russian forces, maintaining effective resistance across all sectors of the front.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian losses amounted to 1,300 personnel. Ukrainian forces also destroyed four tanks, 10 armored combat vehicles, 73 artillery systems, seven multiple launch rocket systems, 1,501 unmanned aerial vehicles, 227 vehicles, and five units of special equipment.
