Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
Over the past 24 hours, 236 combat engagements were recorded.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out one missile strike, using a single missile, as well as 89 airstrikes, dropping 280 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 8,769 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,886 shelling attacks on populated areas and the positions of our troops, including 79 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular, in the areas of the following settlements:
- In the Zaporizhzhia region: Vozdvyzhivka, Novosoloshyne, Dolynka, Kopani, Shyroke, Huliaipilske, Komyshuvakha;
- In the Kherson region: Parysheve;
- In the Sumy region: Bublykove and Vilna Sloboda.
Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck eight areas of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment.

Since the beginning of the day, the number of enemy attacks has reached 66.
Artillery shelling of border areas is ongoing. Today, in the Sumy region, the following settlements were affected: Tovstodubove, Korenok, Bachivsk, Volfyne, Atynske, Ulanove, Vilna Sloboda, Topolia, Kozache, Novovasylivka, and Zhuravka. In addition, Yasna Polyana and Leonivka in the Chernihiv region were also hit. The enemy also carried out an airstrike near the settlement of Vilna Sloboda in the Sumy region.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: over the past day, the enemy carried out 92 shelling attacks on our troops’ positions and populated areas, including two using MLRS.
04:00 PM: the russian troops conducted 63 shelling attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian positions, including three using multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS).
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the enemy attempted five times to break through our defensive lines in the areas of Starytsia, Prylipka, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, and Chuhunivka.
04:00 PM: the russian occupiers launched one assault on Ukrainian positions near the settlement of Vilcha.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian forces carried out nine attacks in the areas of Pishchane, Petropavlivka, Kruhliakivka, and toward Novoplatonivka and Kurylivka.
04:00 PM: the russian troops attempted nine times to improve its tactical position in the areas of Novoosynove, Petropavlivka, Kruhliakivka, Bohuslavka, Novoplatonivka, and Borivska Andriivka. Two combat engagements are ongoing.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: the russian enemy attacked five times, attempting to penetrate our defenses toward Drobyshcheve, Stavky, and near the settlement of Novoselivka.
04:00 PM: Ukrainian forces repelled two attempts by the invaders to advance toward the settlements of Cherneshchyna and Novoserhiivka. One engagement is still ongoing.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled four attempts by the occupiers to advance near Zakytne, Riznykivka, Platonivka, and toward Rai-Oleksandrivka.
04:00 PM: one combat is ongoing near Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: the russians attempted three times to improve its tactical position, assaulting toward Nykyforivka and near Predtechyne.
04:00 PM: Ukrainian defenders repelled one russian attempt to advance near the settlement of Fedorivka Druha.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers carried out 27 attacks in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Novopavlivka, Kleban-Byk, Ivanopillia, Yablunivka, and toward Illinivka, Sofiivka, Berestok, and Kucheryv Yar.
04:00 PM: the russians carried out 17 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, Novopavlivka, and Sofiivka. Three combat engagements are ongoing.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 57 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Novopidhorodne, Molodetske, Nove Shakhove, Chervonyi Lyman, Novopavlivka, Dachne, and toward Hryshyne, Shevchenko, and Filiia.
04:00 PM: the russian occupiers have attempted 19 times to push Ukrainian forces from their positions near Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Hryshyne, Udachne, Toretske, Novooleksandrivka, Pokrovsk, Novomykolaivka, Biliakivka, Molodetske, Filiia, and Novopavlivka, as well as toward the settlement of Hannivka. Four engagements are ongoing.
Oleksandrivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian troops attacked 22 times in the areas of Ternove, Oleksandrohrad, Ivanivka, Zelenyi Hai, Andriivka-Klevtsove, Sichneve, and toward Sosnivka, Verbove, and Zlahoda.
04:00 PM: the enemy launched seven attacks in the areas of Andriivka-Klevtsove, Oleksandrohrad, Sichneve, Zlahoda, Vyshneve, and Rybne. Additionally, the settlements of Lisne and Pokrovske were struck by guided aerial bombs.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: 33 enemy attacks reported in the areas of Huliaipole, Varvarivka, Olenokostiantynivka, Myrne, and toward Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Hirske, Huliaipilske, and Tsvitkove.
04:00 PM: Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled six enemy attacks near Dobropillia, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, and Myrne. The enemy also carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vozdvyzhenske, Shyroke, and Dolynka. One engagement is currently ongoing.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: the enemy attacked ten times in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Mali Shcherbaky, and Stepove.
04:00 PM: the russian forces attacked near the settlement of Prymorske. The area of Zarichne was hit by an airstrike.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russians carried out two assault actions toward the Antonivskyi Bridge.
04:00 PM: no enemy assault operations were recorded.
Volyn and Polissia Directions
08:00 AM and 04:00 PM: no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue to systematically destroy the enemy and maintain effective resistance along the entire front line.
In total, over the past day, Russian losses amounted to 1,360 personnel. The enemy also lost eight tanks, 16 armored combat vehicles, 65 artillery systems, 1,948 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 181 vehicles.
