The 1542th day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 257 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out one missile strike using 55 missiles and conducted 95 airstrikes, dropping 323 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy deployed 8,517 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,884 shelling attacks on populated areas and positions of Ukrainian forces, including 82 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of Fotovyzh, Pustohorod, Budky, and Vorozhba in Sumy Oblast.
Over the past day, aircraft, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck two areas where enemy personnel were concentrated, as well as another important target belonging to the Russian invaders.

08:00 AM: the russian aggressor carried out three airstrikes using seven guided aerial bombs, conducted 97 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including 12 using multiple launch rocket systems. Seven enemy assault actions were recorded.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 14 times in the areas of Vovchanski Khutory, Lyman, and Starytsia, as well as toward Ternove, Radkivka, and Izbytske.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian troops attacked four times in the areas of Kurylivka, Novoplatonivka, and Pishchane.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: the enemy attempted eight times to break through Ukrainian defenses, attacking in the areas of Drobysheve, Ozerne, Yampil, Dibrava, and Stavky.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: russian invaders twice attempted once to advance toward the settlement of Rai-Oleksandrivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped one russian attack in the area of the settlement of Pryvillia.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: the russian forces carried out 28 attacks near Kostiantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillia, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Toretske, Kucheriv Yar, and Novopavlivka.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 39 assault actions by the aggressor in the areas of Novi Shakhove, Nikanorivka, Rodynske, Kotlyne, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Udachne, Molodetske, and toward Bilytske, Vasylivka, and Novopavlivka.

Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers carried out 25 attacks in the areas of Novi Zaporizhzhia, Zlahoda, Huliaipole, Sviatopetrivka, Dobropillia, Olenokostiantynivka, Charivne, Zaliznychne, Hirke, and Huliaipilske.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped three enemy attempts to advance in the areas of Shcherbaky and Plavni.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: russian forces carried out three attacks toward Antonivka but achieved no success.
Volyn and Polissia Directions
08:00 AM: no signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy and are putting up effective resistance across all sectors of the front.
Overall, Russian invaders lost 1,150 personnel over the past day. Ukrainian forces also neutralized four tanks, 12 armored combat vehicles, 32 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, seven ground robotic systems, 1,780 unmanned aerial vehicles, 41 missiles, 185 vehicles, and one unit of special equipment belonging to the enemy.
