The 1543rd day of the large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
A total of 263 combat engagements were recorded over the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy launched two missile strikes using two missiles and carried out 89 airstrikes, dropping 270 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the enemy deployed 9,153 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,027 shelling attacks on populated areas and positions of Ukrainian forces, including 55 attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of Vilna Sloboda in Sumy Oblast and Karpovychi in Chernihiv Oblast.
Over the past day, aircraft, missile forces, and artillery of the Defense Forces struck 13 areas where enemy personnel and equipment were concentrated, two UAV command posts, one ammunition depot, and another important enemy target.

08:00 AM: the russian aggressor carried out three airstrikes using eight guided aerial bombs, conducted 57 shelling attacks on Ukrainian positions and populated areas, including one attack using multiple launch rocket systems. One enemy assault action was recorded.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked the positions of Ukrainian units 10 times toward Izbytske, Ternova, and Novovasylivka, as well as in the areas of Starytsia, Lyman, Synelnykove, and Vovchanski Khutory.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: russian troops carried out two attacks toward Kindrashivka and Radkivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: russian forces attempted 13 times to break through Ukrainian defenses, attacking in the areas of Stavky, Zarichne, Yampil, Novyi Myr, Ozerne, and toward Novoserhiivka, Druzheliubivka, Lyman, and Dibrava.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: the Russians launched four assaults toward Rai-Oleksandrivka and in the area of Zakitne.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: No enemy attacks were recorded.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: Russians carried out 23 attacks in the areas of Illinivka, Pleshchiivka, Sofiivka, Vilne, Stepanivka, Toretske, Ivanopillia, and toward Kostiantynivka, Novopavlivka, Bilytske, and Mykolaipillia.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 35 assault actions by the aggressor toward the settlements of Zatyshok, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynske, Bilytske, Hryshyne, Serhiivka, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Novopavlivka, Filiia, Hannivka, and Molodetske.

Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers carried out 33 attacks in the areas of Pryluky, Charivne, Huliaipilske, Rybne, and toward Dobropillia, Zlahoda, Novi Zaporizhzhia, Pryvillia, Zaliznychne, Tsvitkove, Vozdvyzhivka, Staroukrainka, and Krynychne.
Orikhiv Direction

Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the enemy carried out three attacks toward Antonivka and Bilohrudyi Island.
Volyn and Polissia Directions
08:00 AM: no signs of enemy offensive group formations were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy and are putting up effective resistance across all sectors of the front.
Overall, Russian invaders lost 1,230 personnel over the past day. Ukrainian forces also neutralized two tanks, five armored combat vehicles, 48 artillery systems, two air defense systems, one aircraft, nine ground robotic systems, 1,865 unmanned aerial vehicles, 253 vehicles, and seven units of special equipment belonging to the enemy.
