The 1654th day of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.
Operational Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
In total, 240 combat engagements were recorded during the past day.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 100 air strikes, during which it dropped 294 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 10,334 kamikaze drones and carried out 3,048 shelling attacks on populated areas and positions of our troops.
In Sumy region, the enemy’s artillery shelling affected the settlements of Korenok, Pysarivka, Bachivsk, Ulanove and Sukhodil. In addition, the areas of the settlements of Tovstodubove, Esman, Sadky and Ivolzhanske came under air strikes.
Over the past day, the aviation, missile forces and artillery of the Defense Forces struck four areas of concentration of enemy manpower, three artillery systems, three control points for unmanned aerial vehicles and one command-and-observation post.
The North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions
8:00 AM: over the past day Ukrainian defenders stopped one russian assault in the direction of Bachivsk.
The South Slobozhansky direction
8:00 AM: Ukrainian units repelled 22 enemy attacks. The invaders attempted to advance in the areas of Kozacha Lopan, Lyman, Starytsia and Vilcha, as well as in the directions of Okhrimivka and Bochkyve.
The Kupiansk direction
8:00 AM: the russian enemy attacked once in the direction of Bohuslavka.
The Lyman direction
Attempts to penetrate Ukrainian defenses were repelled, the russian occupiers attacked 11 times in the areas of Lyman and Dibrova, as well as in the directions of Hrekivka, Kopanky, Novoiehorivka, Novoselivka and Drobyshеve.
The Sloviansk direction
8:00 AM: the russian occupiers carried out ten assault actions in the areas of Kalenyky and Ozerne, as well as in the direction of Kryva Luka.
The Kramatorsk direction
8:00 AM: the enemy conducted no assault actions over the past day.
The Kostiantynivka direction
8:00 AM: 24 russian attacks were recorded. The invaders conducted assault actions in the areas of Kostiantynivka, Illinivka, Mykolaipillia and Raiske, as well as in the directions of Novohryhorivka, Novopavlivka and Pavlivka.
The Pokrovsk direction
8:00 AM: The largest number of assault actions was recorded on this direction. Ukrainian defenders stopped 38 attacks. The russian occupiers was active in the areas of Bilytske, Serhiivka, Udachne and Molodetske, and also carried out assaults in the directions of Novyi Donbas, Svitlo, Vilne, Sofiivka, Toretske, Pryiut, Shevchenko, Dobropillia, Novohryshyne and Novopavlivka.
The Oleksandrivka direction
8:00 AM: the invaders carried out two attacks in the directions of the settlements of Rybne and Yehorivka.
The Huliaipole direction
8:00 AM: the occupiers attacked seven times in the direction of Vozdvyzhivka.
The Orikhiv direction
8:00 AM: our defenders stopped three attempts by the enemy to advance in the areas of Orikhiv and Prymorske.
The Prydniprovske direction
8:00 AM: the enemy conducted no assault actions over the past day.
The Volyn and Polissia directions
8:00 AM: no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy and are effectively resisting in all areas of the front.
In total, the losses of the Russian invaders over the past day amounted to 1,440 personnel. Also neutralized were one tank, eight armored combat vehicles, 77 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, four air defense systems, 13 ground robotic systems, 1,890 unmanned aerial vehicles, 492 units of enemy motor vehicles and eight units of special equipment.
