Senior lieutenant Zakhar Timin died in Eastern Ukraine on August 13, 2014. Russian newspaper Novaya Gazeta finally managed to find his wife Irina.
Irina proved her husband had been killed in Ukraine. Moreover, according to her, he wasn’t a volunteer, he was a professional soldier, who just carried out an order since he had no other choice.
