The Ukrainian animated film “Our Faita” will be presented at the Baltic Event Co-Production Market, an international film industry event in Tallinn.
Ukrinform reports that the State Film Agency of Ukraine announced this on Facebook.
“Our Faita” has been selected for the prestigious Baltic Event Co-Production Market, held as part of the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, an A-list international film festival.
“This is great news for our film, which, as it continues its journey across Europe, is appearing at an increasing number of prestigious international festivals and forums,” said Anna Yelisieieva, the project’s executive producer.
The film is being produced by Ukrainian studio Animagrad in co-production with German animation company Telescop Animation.
The team working on the animated film includes director Kostiantyn Fedorov, production designer Christian Koskinnen, and Anna Yelisieieva.
Director Antonio Lukich serves as the film’s creative producer.
The State Film Agency of Ukraine noted that the Baltic Event Co-Production Market is one of Europe’s leading platforms for developing film projects, finding international partners, securing funding, and establishing co-production partnerships.
Participation in the Baltic Event Co-Production Market opens up new opportunities to promote the project internationally, develop Ukrainian-European co-production, and strengthen the position of Ukrainian animation in the global film market.
As Ukrinform reported, a special screening of short animated films from the Linoleum International Festival of Contemporary Animation and Media Art will take place in New York on October 24.
