Elina Svitolina is ranked seventh, while Marta Kostyuk has entered the top 10 in the world rankings for the first time in her career.

For the first time in history, two Ukrainian tennis players are simultaneously ranked among the WTA’s top 10. This was reported by Korrespondent.

It is noted that Ukraine’s No. 1 tennis player, Elina Svitolina, climbed two spots and now sits in seventh place.

Marta Kostyuk also moved up one position, setting a new career high by reaching 10th place and breaking into the top 10 for the first time.

According to BTU, Ukraine is represented by a record six tennis players in the WTA top 50 for the first time. Oleksandra Oliynykova is ranked 41st, Daria Snigur 42nd, Yuliia Starodubtseva 43rd, and Anhelina Kalinina 47th.

The world No. 1 is Kazakhstan’s Elena Rybakina, who overtook the so-called neutral tennis player with a Belarusian passport, Arina Sabalenka, in the rankings.

Earlier, it was reported that a Serbian coach cynically reacted to the destruction of the home of Ukrainian tennis player Dayana Yastremska’s family, leaving the comment “Bravo Rusija” under the tennis player’s post.
