23 August, a 24-metre-long Ukrainian flag was traditionally unfolded on Odessa Potemkin Steps as a part of theVyshyvanka Festival. This Flag Day event takes place in Odessa for the 7th time already.

The Ukrainian Flag Day was also marked in Berlin, and Kyiv showcases flags that Ukrainian servicemen carried in combat.
To remind, this year the Potemkin Steps have become the Treasure of European Film Culture.
21 August Odessa commemorated Ukrainian soldiers fallen in the Russia-Ukraine war.
