The Anniversary Ukrainian Week Will Take Place in Washington from February 2 to 7

The fifth Ukrainian Week in Washington, February 2–7, highlights the 20th Ukrainian Prayer Breakfast, fostering Ukraine-U.S. partnerships, featuring officials, lawmakers, military, and war-affected families.

The fifth Ukrainian Week in Washington will take place from February 2 to 7 and will have an anniversary character — it is dedicated to several significant milestones, including the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States and the 20th Ukrainian Prayer Breakfast in Washington. This was reported by LB.ua.

According to the organizers, the focus of Ukrainian Week 2026 is strengthening the partnership between Ukraine and the United States based on shared values of freedom, faith, and human dignity, as well as developing religious and values-based diplomacy.

Ukrainian Week marks five years of existence as a platform for intergovernmental dialogue between Ukraine and the United States.

The organizer of Ukrainian Week, Pavlo Unguryan, emphasized that over five years it has been possible to build stable partnerships between Ukraine and the United States, promote advocacy within American society, and implement joint initiatives based on Christian values.

The central event will be the 20th anniversary Ukrainian Prayer Breakfast, held alongside the U.S. National Prayer Breakfast and the International Religious Freedom (IRF) Summit. This will ensure the participation of high-ranking officials, lawmakers, and thought leaders who shape Washington’s agenda.

Participants in Ukrainian Week this year include Ukraine’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiha, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, Verkhovna Rada Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets, members of parliament, government representatives, and religious leaders from Ukraine, as well as U.S. Senate leaders: James Lankford, Steve Daines, Richard Blumenthal, Sheldon Whitehouse; and co-chairs of the U.S. Congressional Ukrainian Caucus: Joe Wilson, Mike Quigley, Marcy Kaptur, and Brian Fitzpatrick.

Special guests include Ukrainian military personnel, including fighters from Azov, children affected by Russian aggression, Hero of Ukraine Vladyslav Stotskyi, spiritual leaders from temporarily occupied territories, and families who have lost loved ones in the war.
