Russia’s Mass Drone Strike Across Ukraine Leaves Casualties and Widespread Damage

Russia’s largest drone attack hits multiple Ukrainian cities, killing civilians, injuring dozens, and damaging homes, hospitals, and critical infrastructure nationwide.

The consequences of one of the most massive drone attacks have been reported across Ukraine, according to official information.

In Ternopil, a drone struck an administrative building. The blast wave shattered windows in the pediatric unit of City Hospital No. 2.

In Ivano-Frankivsk, an attempted strike targeted an administrative facility. Buildings of the city and regional maternity hospitals were damaged, along with around ten residential houses.

In Lviv, the Bernardine Monastery complex was damaged, with fires engulfing adjacent structures.

Critical infrastructure facilities were also hit in the Komarno and Dobrosyn-Maheriv communities.

In Vinnytsia, nine private houses were damaged, along with two multi-story residential buildings affected by the blast wave.

In Zhytomyr, a two-story residential building was damaged.

In Poltava, damage was reported to a nine-story apartment building, private homes, a hotel roof, and industrial buildings of a non-operational enterprise.

In Dnipro, nine apartment buildings and kindergartens sustained damage.

In Zaporizhzhia, 20 multi-story buildings, six private homes, a shop, and non-residential and industrial facilities were damaged.

In Odesa region, transport and energy infrastructure facilities were targeted. Windows and doors in a private house were blown out, and a shop and a bus stop were damaged.

In Chernihiv region, residential houses were damaged.

In Sumy region, residential buildings, educational and healthcare institutions, administrative and non-residential premises, shops, infrastructure, and vehicles were damaged. Some houses were destroyed, and a car was completely burned.

In Kharkiv region, private homes and outbuildings, shops, vehicles, an electric train, power lines, and road surfaces were damaged.

Casualties have been reported, including both injured and dead.

In Ivano-Frankivsk, a National Guard serviceman and his daughter were killed. His wife had recently given birth and was in a maternity hospital during the Russian attack, Mayor Ruslan Martsinkiv reported.

In Lviv, 22 people with varying degrees of injuries are currently hospitalized, according to Mayor Andriy Sadovyi.

In Ternopil, strikes hit energy infrastructure facilities and an administrative building. The blast wave damaged windows in the pediatric department of City Hospital No. 2. Children were in shelters at the time, and no injuries among patients or staff were reported. Power outages are being recorded across the region, Mayor Serhii Nadal said.

In Vinnytsia, 13 people were injured and one person killed as a result of the attack, according to the regional military administration. Damage to nine private houses and two multi-story buildings has been confirmed.
