Today is the 1504rd day of the Ukraine war with aggression of the Russian Federation. The Defense Forces are repelling attempts by the occupiers to improve their positions and advance deeper into Ukrainian territory, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment.
Update as of 08:00 AM on Russian invasion of Ukraine
Over the past day, a total of 150 combat engagements were recorded.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 84 airstrikes, dropping 242 guided aerial bombs. In addition, they deployed 8,625 kamikaze drones and conducted 3,227 shellings of populated areas and Ukrainian troop positions, including 42 using multiple launch rocket systems.
The aggressor launched airstrikes, in particular, in the areas of settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region — Orly, Novoselivka, Vidradne, Pysantsi, Lisne, and Prosyana; in the Zaporizhzhia region, the settlements of Vozdvyzhivka, Verkhnia Tersa, Huliaipilske, Dolynka, and Svoboda were affected; as well as Mala Slobidka in the Sumy region.
Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces struck six areas of concentration of enemy personnel and equipment.

Northern-Slobozhanskyi and Kursk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian forces carried out five airstrikes using 13 guided aerial bombs and conducted 93 shellings of our troops’ positions and populated areas, including six using multiple launch rocket systems. Four combat engagements were recorded.
Southern-Slobozhanskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian enemy twice attempted to break through the defensive lines of our defenders in the areas of Starytsia and toward Kolodiazne.
Kupiansk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian forces attacked eight times in the area of Pishchane and toward Kivsharivka, Novoosynove, Petropavlivka, and Kurylivka.
Lyman Direction
08:00 AM: the russian invaders carried out six attacks, attempting to penetrate our defenses toward Lyman, Stavky, Novoserhiivka, and Drobysheve.
Sloviansk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled five attempts by the occupiers to advance toward Rai-Oleksandrivka, Yampol, and Riznykivka.
Kramatorsk Direction
08:00 AM: the russian occupiers attacked three times in the areas of Pryvillia, Markove, and toward Minkivka.
Kostyantinivka Direction
08:00 AM: the Russians conducted 19 attacks in the areas of Stepanivka, Kleban-Byk, Pleshchiivka, Rusyn Yar, and toward Illinivka, Sofiivka, and Kostiantynivka.
Pokrovsk Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders stopped 31 assault actions by the aggressor in the areas of Bilytske, Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Hryshyne, and Muravka.
Oleksandrivka Direction
08:00 AM: according to updated information, the russian troops attacked 13 times in the areas of Ivanivka, Myrne, Kalynivske, Pryvillia, Verbove, Zlahoda, and Oleksandrohrad.
Huliaipole Direction
08:00 AM: 11 russian attacks took place in the areas of Olenokostiantynivka, Charivne, and toward Sviatopetrivka, Zaliznychne, and Pryluky.
Orikhiv Direction
08:00 AM: Ukrainian defenders repelled two russian attempts to advance near the settlement of Shcherbaky.
Prydniprovskyi Direction
08:00 AM: the russian carried out five assault operations in the areas of the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilogrudyi Island.
Volyn and Polissia Directions
08:00 AM: no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groupings were detected.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy and are providing effective resistance along all sections of the front.
In total, over the past day, Russian invaders’ losses amounted to 980 personnel. The enemy also lost four armored combat vehicles, 65 artillery systems, three multiple launch rocket systems, two air defense systems, 1,945 unmanned aerial vehicles, 248 units of automotive equipment, and three units of special equipment.
