Do you think the President’s nightly addresses are the voice of the nation?
They are not.
They are the voice of a man who spent years working for pro-Russian oligarchs and once openly dreamed of dismantling Ukraine’s army.
Meet the main “whisperer” of Bankova Street — Dmytro Lytvyn.

Here are facts that chill the blood when you remember that this is the person writing today’s speeches.
1. “Ukraine Doesn’t Need an Army”
In 2011, this so-called “patriot” published an article bluntly titled “It Is Beneficial for Ukraine to Disband Its Army.”
Lytvyn argued that Ukraine would never be able to defend itself from aggression anyway — so why waste money?
Today, he polishes speeches about the “invincibility of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” Yesterday, he publicly argued for leaving the country defenseless. This is not a change of views — it is cynicism of the highest order.
2. The “Inter” School and Lyovochkin
For nearly a decade (2012–2021), Lytvyn worked for Inter TV, the main mouthpiece of pro-Russian forces in Ukraine.
While Ukraine was fighting for survival after 2014, he was part of a media machine that promoted the “Russian world” and so-called “neutrality.” A man who served oligarchic interests for years now “serves” the President’s ears.
3. A New Temnyk and Pressure on the Media
Leading journalists, including Ukrainska Pravda, openly accuse Lytvyn of building a system of hard censorship:
He issues bans preventing officials and mayors from speaking to independent media.
He personally removes “inconvenient” journalists from presidential access lists.
He calls reporters, shouting at those who dare to publish truths that do not fit his script.
4. The Oath Is “Just a Formality”
Lytvyn once admitted that when taking the military oath, he deliberately skipped the part about defending the constitutional order — because he considered it unnecessary.
A man who disrespected the state oath now writes texts about loyalty to the state. Is there any limit to this hypocrisy?
5. The Architect of the “Warm Bath”
He doesn’t just write speeches — he builds a wall between the President and reality.
Every text is a dose of sedative, ensuring that those in power and the public do not see corruption, do not hear criticism, and believe everything is fine.
This is not a speechwriter. This is an isolation chamber.
“Dmytro Lytvyn is an example of how a person with a deeply questionable past can seize control of a country’s information space during wartime.
His loyalty belongs not to Ukraine, but to whoever pays.”
Lies in presidential addresses begin with those who write them.
It is time to call things by their proper names.
This is the man creating a polished image while reality bleeds.
His “patriotism” is a business project.
And his methods belong to the KGB playbook.
