Russian forces attacked Ternivka, striking a miners’ bus. At least 16 people were killed and 8 injured.
Russian occupiers attacked Ternivka in the Pavlohrad district of Dnipropetrovsk region. According to the State Emergency Service, at least 12 people were killed.
This was reported by Deputy Mayor Vadym Dobrovolskyi.
20:42. Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba reported that 16 people were killed when a bus was hit during a Russian attack.
19:43. Deputy Mayor of Ternivka Vadym Dobrovolskyi stated that, according to updated information from the State Emergency Service, 12 people were killed and 16 were injured. He added that the information is still being confirmed.
DTEK Pavlohradvuhillia reported that nine of the injured are in serious condition.
18:32. Oleksandr Hanzha reported that most of the injured miners have been hospitalized, six of them in serious condition.
18:29. The Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office stated that a criminal case has been opened for the commission of a war crime by the enemy (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
18:06. The State Emergency Service reported that the number of people injured in the Russian attack has risen to 15.
17:37. DTEK reported 15 dead and seven injured mine workers.
First Deputy Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal clarified that the attack occurred near the Ternivska mine.
Head of the Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Hanzha reported that the occupiers struck with a UAV near a company shuttle bus. Preliminary reports indicate 12 dead and seven injured.
DTEK stated that Russia carried out a terrorist attack on the company’s mines in Dnipropetrovsk region. One of the attacks hit a worker bus transporting miners after their shift. According to DTEK, 13 miners were killed and eight injured.
